The modern age is entirely science dependent and innovation in technology is the true picture of advancements. Computer is a scientific breakthrough, which have made our life’s easier and more comfortable. However, computer have more constructive results than adverse and its usage by children is certainly helpful for their academic world. From my perception, everything you see around this globe is on our finger tips, and computer technology is a connecting bridge for approaching anywhere on this planet. In addition, Tertiary institutes should make computer studies mandatory in all levels of education, as it helps to make tasking faster in all dimensions. For instance, in this day and age when computers are used in all spheres of life, it is foolish to stop children from using them. They need proficiency in computers to be able to find a good job in future. Actually, nowadays, they need computers to even score good marks in exams. From my point of view, over the past few...

I belive it is unfair to have a set retirement age (of 65 years), irrespective of the occupation the workers are working. Every job requires a different skill set to perform the tasks and while performing those tasks it involves a different level of physical and mental effort. For example, worker working in a coal power plant have to work in a very strenous environment with exposure to coal dust. Hence, working there till age of 65 years will definitely take a toil on their health in an adverse manner. However, in a corporate banking job the physical effort intensity is much less as compared to a worker in coal power plant, and hence based on the above comparison the criteria for retirement age is different, where a coal plant worker should retire at an early stage much before the banker.
Undoubtedly, people are now enjoying one of the greatest technological boom times in human history.Although there is a consensus that social changes coincide normally with technological advances, it isa contentious issue whether the earlier technology (e.g., machines, cars, airplanes) impacts on people'slives to a larger extent than does the recent technology (e.g., Internet, computers). In my opinion, therecent improvements in technology have more far-reaching consequences. While the invention of automobiles was a landmark in the technological evolution of humankind , thewidespread use of computers and telecommunications technology has dramatically reshaped thenature of the society. One might have benefited a lot from one's improved ability to move rapidly fromone place to another because of the availability of automobiles, yet this benefit has been discounted because of the advent of the Internet. With Internet access, the world has become accessible to peop...

The older people are the valuable asset for our society and they should be treated well in the old home. But it is the debatable issue who will pay for the the expenses to take care of them. Many educators today feel pressure to teach to the test and emphasise academic subjects over more practical ones. In my opinion, this
Over the past decades, environmental problems have never failed to draw public attention and provoke debates. Although the severity and urgency of addressing environmental problems properly are hardly arguable, the issue as to whether governments should deal with these issues with higher price of fuels or not remains controversial. From my own perspective, I consider this approach is ineffective. Firstly, it is important to recognize that although the occurrence of positive outcome towards environment is almost inevitable, the final result may not be as expected for long. Some may hold optimistic attitude that this particular approach would be the effect on limiting the number of cars and thereby reducing the amount of environment-damaging gas emission. This argument could be true to some extent. However, they should take into account the fact that since the cost of public transport would also be affected, resistance in people with the need of travel seems to be inevitabl...

We all know that higher the position, greater are the responsibilities and risk associated. Decision-making positions such as Prime Minister, Defence Minister, Defence Head, Chairman of Central Bank etc. are all associated with huge responsibilities and risks. A person in one of these positions should be mature and wise enough to make important decisions.
