Everyone is concerned with the issue of global warming and its consequences because of that scientist and other concerned cadres are working day and night with the aim of discovering the best solution to reduce or total stop global warming. This has led to the introduction of solar energy which is believed to be more friendly to the ecosystem. Additionally, solar power has been found to be cheaper than other forms of energy but it has one major drawback it is too reliant to sunlight.

Long before the advent of scientific medicines people were indulge in one or another form of traditional medicine as known as alternative medicine. It is agreeable to me that most of the times alternative medicines is ineffective and potentially harmful but not always. This essay will discuss the reasons of this stated agreement.

Many young people work on a volunteer basis, and this can only be beneficial for both the individual and society as a whole. However, I do not agree that we should therefore force all teenagers to do unpaid work. Most young people are already under enough pressure with their studies, without being given the added responsibility of working in their spare time. School is just as demanding as a full-time job, and teachers expect their students to do homework and exam revision on top of attending lessons every day. When young people do have some free time, we should encourage them to enjoy it with their friends or to spend it doing sports and other leisure activities. They have many years of work ahead of them when they finish their studies. At the same time, I do not believe that society has anything to gain from obliging young people to do unpaid work. Now-a-days, old aged people are prefering to stay away from family in orphanages provided to them and run either by the private sector or by the government. This might be due to loss of all family members in any natural calamities, by accidents, etc., or may be cause of certain personal and family issues. In United Kingdom, people often go to such homes by themselves, once after attaining certain age, love to live with their fellow beings.

These days, governments are extremly focusing on, spending a large portion of its buget towards improvisation of the transport systems, which includes buses and trains, instead of investing on building more road networks. In my opinion the major reasons behind these developments are to incourage more public transport systems and get some monetry benifits to raise more funds. In addition, this is a welcomed development, as it benefit all segments of society.

Currently, the government is focusing and spending much more in development of public transports such as trains and buses. There are couple of reasons behind this action taken by the government; For instance, to make travel easy by providing multiple options and to overcome the extreme pollution causing health issues these days. I believe it is really a positive development in terms of raising funds by means of fare earned from passengers and utilise in other areas for general public only.

In past, how much should the government be involved in the lives of people, has always been debated. Some people think the government should provide basic services related to safety and infrastructure, but stay away from the rest, while others think exactly the opposite. In my opinion, the government should provide basic services but should not be held accountable for education, health care etc.
