Traditions are about the past and innovation is about the future, and it has been argued that we need to let go of traditions for the sake of progress. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this? What role should traditions have in our lives?

It is widely believed that old customs are only related to history while modernization is considered to be seen in the upcoming time. Some people assume that traditions hinder the development of our society, since our old culture and customs must be put aside. I strongly agree with this idea and I also believe that traditions no longer play an essential role in different facets of life like they used to do.

Ancient buildings have their own value in this era, nonetheless, huge monetary aid had been given for the restoration of old buildings, whereas, not all the old buildings are of worth to rejuvenate. Food production for the entire population has been a significant concern issue for nation throughout the world. Many people believe that the government should produce all needed products for their citizens within a nation, whereas others argue that importing goods from other countries is a good idea. Number of vehicles that are on British Roads have grown exponentially over the past hundred years.This increase has caused, not only in transportation but also environmental challenges.Governments all across the globe are now looking out for alternative forms of transport, there are some who are of the opinion that new laws for car ownership should be legislated. I am in agreement with such an approach.

In my view, the circumstances which are inevitably raised by the publics' choices has been trendy and acceptable owning to the progress of the modernisation, however, urgently, managing the traffic system and operating the regulations have been the obligations of the authorities.

In the present day, more and more newly invented medicines and other goods are being experimented on animals to identify their effects. While many people believe that these experiments are immoral and should be forbidden due to the suffering of animals, others argue that they bring numerous advantages to human being.
