Buying things on the Internet, such as books, air tickets and groceries, is becoming more and more popular. Do the advantages of shopping in this way outweigh the disadvantages?

In recent years, there has been a growing trend that people tend to buy things on the Internet. This present both pros and cos, however, in my opinion, its benefits are much more significant than the drawbacks.

Some employers offer their employees subsidised membership of gyms and sports clubs, believing that this will make their staff healthier and thus more effective at work. Other employers see no benefit in doing so. Consider the arguments from both aspects of this possible debate, and reach a conclusion.

In this modern era, where there is a lot of competition among the employers to hire the best and dedicated personnel for their organisation. In order to attract the talented people, organisations these days are offering various benefits to the employees, but there is a strong argument amongst a large section of people. However, I am of the opinion that is the matter to be debated in the light of several factors before any conclusion can be drawn.

One of the most notable aspects of modern society is the growth of e-commerce. There are those who say that online shopping has enhanced our lives in various ways, while others feel that we are worse off because of this issue. In this essay I will examine the positive aspects and drawbacks of shopping on the internet and provide my overall opinion.

Today much of the food people eat gets transported from farms that are thousands of miles away. Some people believe it would be better for the environment and the economy if people only consumed food produced by local farmers. Would the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

When people purchase food products, they may face the dilemma of whether to consume locally-produced foods, or imported from far-away farms. While only consuming food produced locally brings some benefits for the environment and the economy, excluding food from other areas is not a wise idea.

It is argued that these days many people are deciding to give access to the technology firms with their private information in return for permission to use the software. This essay will argue that despite there being potential security risks while providing data, the benefit of being educated about new products far outweigh any drawback.

In some countries, university students live at home with their families while they study in the same city, whereas, in other countries they live away from home while they study. Do the benefits of living away from home outweigh the disadvantages?

Although in some countries, students at tertiary institutions go to the campus for studies from their family house, students from other countries get accommodation far away from their relatives who reside in the same city as their university. In my opinion, the benefits of living away from relatives are more than the demerits.

University students are increasingly studying abroad as part of their studies. Do the advantages of studying abroad outweigh the disadvantages?

Most university students routinely study in other institutes around the world as part of their degree. Although students will often struggle with cultural and linguistic challenges abroad, they will also gain significant life changing experiences that will reward them later on in their careers. In my opinion, students are far better off having studied in a different country, despite the challenges they will inevitably face.

Demand for paper books is decreasing as a consequence of increase of e-books.Extensive usage of e-books can offer a number of benefits, however, there are also possible drawbacks to be discussed.

In the modern era, the automobile and electric things are increasing in all over the world. People are more depending on consumer things and has the part and parcel part of the person's life. In the world, the most significant language has been becoming English due to it’s the contributions to the development of tourism. Although speaking only one language provides communication easier among people and makes people more confident while abroad, it causes people to lose their language and removes people's private communications.

I agree with the question statement to a great extent. I believe that teenagers should be required to do volunteer work in their leisure time in their community. This would have a number of positive effects as it would benefit the teenagers and their neighbourhood simultaneously. Overall, a sense of caring and productive use of teenager’s schedule would be seen.

It is thought by some of the individuals that western couples prefer to choose a child-free life has increased at an exponential pace. These trends bring about numerous advantages like it allows them to lighten their careers and saves money for elder life. However, the downside is that they feel isolated and depressed when they get older.

In some countries young people are encouraged to work or travel for a year between finishing high school and starting university studies. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages for young people who decide to do this

People in few countries have this perception that if students are directed, to spend their time in doing some jobs or travel the world, before getting into the college, after high school. It would be beneficial for the students to make them refresh after schooling, but this long time gap from studies could make them feel not concentrated, while studying.

In some countries, people prefer to rent a house for accommodation, while in other countries people prefer to buy their own house. Does renting a house have more advantages or disadvantages than buying a house?

Selecting a place to live, and whether to rent or purchase it is a huge decision one has to make. People in some countries choose to rent a house rather than buying it, while others favour the exact opposite. I believe that owning a house has more advantages, including freedom and no headache of the monthly rent.
