Some people suggest that when we learn a language, we should also learn the cultures and lifestyles of this country. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

It is an irrefutable fact that, In the modern era, Few individuals opine that it is necessary to learn the cultures and style of living, when we trying to study an overseas tough. I agree with this statement. In this essay, I intend to prove my viewpoint with some reasonable examples.

Some people believe censorship is the killing of entertainment productions. What is your opinion?

Censorship is the ultimate tool for governments to express their monopoly over sensitive information and an impediment to entertainment industry. However, in my view, censorship is, paradoxical as it may sound, beneficial for individual audiences and political system as well.

From distant past to present day, gender inequality has always been a controversial topic for debate. Some individuals argue that this bias has no longer existed in present world. From my perspective, although the number of cases involving this matter has considerably plummeted, to some extent, it is not totally eradicated.

In today’s society, the decision as to enter universities or not is usually a topic of debate for any high school graduate. Many think that pursuing tertiary education is the most vital factor in achieving prominence in life, while others believe that it is a waste of time to spend years on getting a bachelor’s degree as the information taught in universities is mostly theoretical. Personally, I am a fervent proponent of the former idea and in this essay, I would argue that the knowledge gained in universities could, nevertheless, be applicable to real life situations.

Nowadays, there are many commercials that are designed to match children’s interests by advertising fast foods or toys. In this technological era, the astonishing invention of the Internet with the electronic gadgets have a great influence on the social life of the people. Some people opine that, it is a medium to stay connected with the near and dear ones, who is staying in the foreign countries; while other people believe that it is meant for family destruction and degrades bonding between family members. I partially agree with the above notion and reasons for my inclination are articulated in the ensuing paragraphs.

While some people consider movies as a source of entertainment with no other additional values, others believe that educational factors should be taken into account (= be considered). Competition has been cited as an indispensable factor with the non-stop development among individuals including young learners. While others contend that cooperation will promote children’s progress, I am in favour of competition in preference to collaboration that is likely to bring success to offsprings.

The debate over the role of examinations on assessing student’s abilities has become a major issue in recent years. While some people suppose that exams are essential to evaluate students’ level, it is my firm conviction that exams will exert severe pressure on young learners’ psychology and mirror their sole theory-based knowledge.

While others argue that rewarding for improvement students should be given more importance than that of other students. Many countries have invested a significant amount of time and money for exploring the universe because they believe that, this would lead to the discovery of new minerals or water which might be useful for humans. A section of people considers that investing in space research does not help the society, whereas others are of the view that it would benefit the society. In my opinion, finding out more about the planets, the moon and the sun would not be good if there is no improvement in public services and amenities.
