Climate change is one of the biggest environmental problems of the 21st century. Some people think that humans should stop using oil, gas and coal and switch to alternative energy resources, such as wind and solar power. Others claim that fossil fuels are essential for many industries, and not using them will result in economic recession. What is your opinion? Support your point of view with relevant examples.

Some people argue that fossil fuels are essential for economic development even though they are highly polluting, while others believe that alternative sources of energy should completely replace oil, coal and natural gas. In my opinion, it is time to adopt cleaner fuels in the interest of the whole world.

During last twenty years, the assessment of students has undergone a major transformation. Many educational institutions have shifted their focus from traditional examination towards a variety of innovative assessment techniques, as they believe traditional examination results are not often true to student’s ability. To what extent do you agree with this belief? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

For more than a century, traditional examination to assess student’s ability was in place and this is still in use in many parts of the world. However, a more suitable and modern approach has been adopted by many educational institutions and this is often regarded as a better technique to evaluate a pupil’s learning ability and knowledge. I personally opine that innovative modern assessment technique is more effectual, and this essay will give the reasons for this statement.

Although some people prefer to have friends who always have the same views as them, others favour having friends who on occasions differ from them in their opinions. In my opinion, it is OK to have friends who do not concur with our beliefs sometimes.

It is said that verbal communication is mightier than written communication. In my opinion, it varies from individual to individual based on their proficiency and circumstances. Thus, both spoken and written communication hold equal power.

Clothing is a pivotal aspect of one’s expression. It can indicate how a tribe is skilled in confection, choice of colours and materials and, by the latter, even indicate their geography and developed techniques. Nonetheless, although some people say this information is enough to describe a person’s culture and character, I tend to disagree with them.

In recent years, many small local shops have closed because consumers travel to large shopping centres or malls to do their shopping. Is this a positive or a negative development?

In recent times, the pattern of shopping amongst the community has drastically changed. The local shops are eradicated from the market and replaced by the large shopping centre in the public’s shopping preferences. As a change could bring both positive and opposite sides, which will discuss in the following paragraphs.

On the contrary, others insist on the opinion that the element which decides on their satisfaction is a high salary. Even each of the factor demonstrates its reality in human being life, I personally agree with the former opinion for the following reasons.

Nowadays , most languages are extinct , while some individuals believe that this is not significant as it will be easy to handle in life if there are a couple of languages used . I disagree with this opinion because it impacts negatively on cultures and travelling to different countries .

Studies show that crowd commit crimes either due to need or due to their mental state. Be it because of the surroundings they are left back in or because of the lack of bare minimum funds to look after themselves, we see folk of criminal background reverting back to their old selves even after servicing their turn in prisons. This ultimately would cost the nation time, money and could sometimes interfere with its progress.

The rasing argument of wasting billions of dollars to explore outer space and not much focus on urgent needs on earth facing today. I completely agree with the statement because there are many critical matters that need to consider like the solution for poverty, better healthcare facilities, protect the environment etc.

Making a friend is an essential factor to socialize and have mental health. I do think both notions are equally in a friendship circle.
