it is controversial that increasing prison sentences is an effective way to reduce the crime in a nation, while others insist that there are many better alternative solutions to decrease this epidemic. In my opinion, I agree both sides and I am going to give reasons in this essay.

Working longer hours is getting more common in today’s society. I personally believe that this trend not only has a severe impact on the workers themselves, but also on their families and the community as a whole. Therefore, I totally agree with the idea of limiting working hours.

Sport competitions are not scarcely seen in almost all schools for the time being. While the rivalry that is believed to induce cooperation is advocated, opponents claim that they merely result in fierce competition among students. From my perspectives, I do believe the significant importance of sport games in building up positive competition as well as team work skills.

Some people argue that students in schools do not get adequate teaching for maintaining their health. In my opinion, I agree with this statement, regarding some absent of important health materials studied in the physical education subject, unhealthy tight scheduled lifestyle, and lack of school health programmes.

There are different views about the increasing popularity that online classes have gained in recent years. I personally believe that this method of course delivery has both advantages and disadvantages.

It is true that technology gives most people a chance to see historical objects and works of art on a computer screen. I partly agree with the view, therefore,that museums and art that galleries are no longer necessary.

Some students prefer to live with their family when pursuing tertiary education, others; however, believe that it is better to accommodate independently than relying on their parents. As from my perspective, living in the same house with our parents is a better option for the students when studying at the university; nevertheless, the other option is also an appropriate choice for those scholars.

A bulk of people believe that historical knowledge is among the most fundamental subjects at school, others, however, opine that spheres associated with science and technology are more essential than the former. As from my perspective, the propensity for science and technology subject valuing is more optimal than its historical counterpart in the contemporary world.

While many advocates that world history topics should be more focused, other present arguments put forward in favor of the history of their homeland. Recycling waste materials should help to tackle both the mountains of domestic rubbish produced each year and our depleting natural resources. However, recycling programmes need the full cooperation of residents if they are to be effective, and unfortunately, this is often lacking.

These days, the fact that most people have a tendency to consume an enormous amount of junk food is alarming as it can put their health into jeopardy in the future. Thus, it is imperative to take some serious actions to prevent this from continuing. While some people are of the opinion that education should be considered a key to tackle the problem, others hold the belief that education is unlikely to be effective. Although I partly side with the former, this essay will discuss both views.

People have different views about the best way to successful career is continuing to study at academic institutions or getting a job. While having a job after school would bring some benefits, I believe that it is better to go to college or university.

Some people believe that government should impose restriction on the level of noise, whereas others argue that they have freedom to make noise as they like. This essay will analyze both sides of the matter before my point of view is drawn at the end.

Abide that many people think artistic activities are an indispensable part of their lives, some other people take into account the investment on arts is a waste of the government’s money because arts are less vital than other public services, such as healthcare and education systems. From my perspective, I believe that both arts and other public services are of great importance and cannot be underestimated.
