Write an essay of about 250 words to express your opinion on the following topic. Learning about the past has no value for those of us living in the present. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

History is now an indispensable subject among the teaching curriculum. However, a number of people still have a strong belief that learning about the historical period leads to no benefits for those living in this modern era. In my judgment, this statement is totally no merit by dint of several following reasons.

Some people say that advertising encourages us to buy things that we really do not need. Others say that advertisements tell us about new products that may improve our lives. The explosion in advertising industry creates a question for many people about the ultimate aims of these advertisements. Whereas some people think that they often attract us buying things we don’t really need. I would argue that they help us to find items which can improve our standard of life.

I fully believe children should be banned from playing computer games. This essay will; firstly, examine how the continuous use of these games is detrimental to a child’s optical health, secondly, discuss how their content may negatively impact children’s fragile minds.

Pictures have always been a powerful medium of expression just as a pen. It is not uncommon to see pictures accompanying news stories on television and in newspapers. It is often debatable if images are comparatively more effective than words. However, in my opinion, pictures are undoubtedly more effective than texts. This essay will show the reasons for my perspective.

Languages play a significant role in our daily life. However, several languages die out in every year. Some people believed that this will not cause any effect on our daily life as fewer languages in the world is considered by them to be more easier. In my opinion, I opine that it is the prude choice of pupils to decide which area they want to be specialized in. This essay will discuss both points of view.

It is sometimes thought that children should spend more time at school and less spar time at their disposal. This they believe can help children lear more which will benefit them at the longrun. In my opinion , I believe that free time should be use to acquire new skills or engage in sporting activities that could benefit them and the society rather than on school work.

Usually, animals are not treated as humans, most people having the feeling that they own them and can do whatever they want with them, but other people started to say that this type of behaviour is wrong. This essay outlines the differences between animals and humans and explains why there should be an equilibrium between the two.

In our modern world, celebrity news is ubiquitous, bombarding us 24/7. Many feel that this constant stream of star gossip is having a detrimental effect on youngsters. Personally, I completely agree that not only is the quantity of such ‘news’ troubling, but also the content sends the wrong message to children.

In my opinion, career satisfaction is not determined by when someone chooses a career path or for how long someone pursues it. This essay will outline some important factors believed to be involved.

Education still a debatable topic among people. Some believe that the government should be responsible for paying for the studies of all students from the first year of school. I totally agree with this view, since citizens pay high taxes and part of this, is allocated to education and therefore this should be free to all students. This essay will discuss in depth why this is the government responsibility.
