9.Full-time university students should spend a lot of time studying, but it is essential to be involved in other activities. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

How should university students invest their time has become a controversial issue in recent times. Certain individuals insisted that instead of dedicating the majority of time to coursework, it is also important to get involved in extra-curriculum activities. I strongly agree with this statement and I will list my reasons below to support my opinion.

In many countries people throw away lot of food from restaurant and shop. Why do you think people waste food in this way? What can be done to reduce waste?

It is indeed true that the excessive amount of food is wasted by the restaurant every day. In my opinion, a lack of awareness among people is the biggest cause of it, and the possible solution for the government is to impose stringent laws.

Some people say that there is less communication between family members today than there was in the past. Do you agree or disagree?

In recent time, interactions between family members have been greatly minimized compared to what we have in the olden days, this has not only had an adverse effect on family alone but also interaction with business. I am of the notion that there is a communication gap in families these days, reasons being an advancement in technology and successful life.

I believe that in the 21st century wherein the whole world is engrossed in their busy lives and distracted by the various fruits modernization has to offer, we are somewhere losing our grasp on our age-old customs. My essay will firstly stress upon how these monetary tactics of reviving heritage are the only way forward. Secondly, I will give reasons why the initial statement does not hold much significance.

It is thought that contemporary technological advancements have touched several people; however, others cannot have it at all. I completely disagree with this notion, as modern communication technology has proved itself as a blessing of science. Museums are a visualization of our histories, evolution and achievements. Some people think that entry to museums should be free as its a collection of prodigies borne out of the country's hard work while others believe that since its a costly affair to maintain and expand a museum's collection, charges on entry should be levied. I opine that the advantages of charging people for admission to museums outweigh the disadvantages.

Advances in science and technology and other areas of society in the last 100 years have transformed the way we live as well as postponing the day we die. There is no better time to be alive than now. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

In the past decade, we have seen exponential growth in the improvement of science and technology in our society. It is believed that these advancements also contribute to the longer mortality rate. There is no doubt that many countries over the world do not provide free scholarship facilities for people who can not afford it, despite this everyone should have equal rights to access education. Nowadays, crime is becoming an increasingly popular genre amongst readers and television viewers. This essay discusses some of the possible reasons for the surge in popularity and explains why I am not really a big fan of it.
