IELTS Opinion Writing Samples Band 8.5
Today's modern era is revolving around Scientific Developments and Technologies which transformed the stone age into the space age. Some proponents argue that history is a crucial subject while the opponents rebut that Science and technology have higher benefits for the younger generation. In this essay, I will examine the question from both points of view and then explain why I believe that subject like Science and Technology are more important because the Future is Science.
In the modern world, the increasing traffic congestions and pollution issues are unstoppable by many nations. It is considered that rising the petrol and diesel prices can be a better option to reduce the emission on roads and to avoid traffic jam. While I agree that price increases are one of the solutions, I also believe that Government can take measures by imposing a strict law.
Over the past few decades, technology made a major impact on everyday life. Some people say that the mushrooming of virtual shopping will make retail shops vanishes one day from town and cities. Looking forward to my opinion, I concur with the above statement that due to massive choices available in sizes, colours, fabrics and brands, people do prefer shopping online rather than visiting them personally and wasting time.
It seems that developing nations is something that will never change. In this context there is a contentious debate where some individuals believe that with state-of-the-art schools and teachers is possible to break this barrier, whereas others disagree. Personally, I strongly disagree as a nation can only thrive investing in other important areas as well.
Some argue that keeping your workplace and your home tidy is important. Also, everything should be organised and be in the right place. I fully agree with this statement as tidiness and organization can significantly increase the level of productivity and effectiveness of any person.
Nowadays, crimes have increased among the younger generation and it leads to a serious threat to society. This can be reduced by training all parents in parenting skills. While I agree that both father and mother hold the liability to teach children, schools should also have equal responsibility.
Nowadays, the status of a person is reflected by his salary. A higher salary is proportionally related to a high standard of living despite the sacrifice of job satisfaction. Many people argue that satisfying work is more important than a big salary. I totally disagree with this statement of job satisfaction more superior to a better income. In the below essay I will draw my argument to support the aforementioned viewpoint.
Because obesity is becoming more and more distributed among people ,there are strong suggestions to make physical education a necessary part of any degree course. I completely disagree with this approach and believe that making sport a compulsory subject is an erroneous decision.
Currently, our world is facing an issue with overpopulation. With more people, our cities roads are always crowded and in main , centres the air is more polluted than ever. One possible solution for this problem is making petrol even more expensive than now. I tend to agree with that statement because ,in my opinion, our society will only change if it affects our monthly income.
Undoubtedly, it is an absolute truth that the stitches in time save nine, hence, a nation's major financial blueprint should be allocated to edification and prophylactic initiatives from therapeutics sectors. I strongly accord to the statement; notwithstanding, this disquisition delves into the in-depth grounds why I do believe so.
In the modern world, electronic apparatus plays an important role in human’s life. Nowadays, many people are using electronic gadgets and computers to read the information that is happening around them. It leads to the non-requirement of printed newspapers, magazines, and book. While I agree that the usage of mobile phones by adults increases enormously, still many old people prefer to read only printed papers.
The unemployment amount for certified graduates is somehow a universal concern. Undoubtedly, a variety of causes leads to this problem but adopting proper policies could be effective in decreasing its rate.
There is no shadow of a doubt that imprisonment life should be tough, and the main purpose of prison house is to penalize the offenders. I am in variance with this view because, in my opinion, the objective of jails is to rehabilitate criminals, further this essay will argue that punishment does not help to reduce the crime rates.
There is no doubt that theoretical knowledge plays a crucial role in building societies. While some people would argue that students have spent the majority of their school-life in learning Science and Math rather than focusing on skills, I reckon that both sides of studies are essential.
It is argued that tax incentives in the form of subsidy should be given to individuals who buy eco-friendly vehicles in place of other polluting variants. I strongly believe that tax benefit will motivate people to buy such non-polluting commutation variants. This essay will firstly, outline how it will be beneficial for our environment and in the latter half of this essay we will discuss how it is cost beneficial.
No matter time is moving towards advancement, and so as the progress, the importance of education will always remain the same. A number of the public believe that in today's age, books need electronic storage rather than physical storage. At the same time, according to many society residents, there is no imitation of the engraved text. A final decision will be taken after deliberations in the forthcoming article, keeping both sides in mind.
NOWADAYS, FOREIGN AFFAIRS IS POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF THE ENHANCEMENT IN THE TECHNOLOGY. SHOWING THE SAME MESSAGE TO THE PUBLIC BY ABROAD'S MEDIA SUCH AS NEWS, TV SERIES OR PROGRAMME, MEANWHILE SOME CLAIM THAT IT HAS A BAD EFFECT ON COUNTRY'S CULTURE. IN MY OPINION, EVERYTHING HAS A PLUS AND MINUS SIDE. THIS ESSAY WILL DISCUSS THOSE BENEFITS AND DRAWBACKS WITH DETAIL AND RELEVANT EXAMPLES.
Since time immemorial, animals have been being used in order to meet the infinite demands of human beings, leading them to suffer inexorable pain. Consequently, there has been, in recent years, a growing body of opinion in favour of abstaining from animals’ use for humans’ need. Being a rational mind, I, too assent to this notion, for I am of the view that animals serve us as a singular provenance of medicines along with food.
For decades, helping low-income segments of society have become appreciated. wealth has been cultivated a habit of helping population in-need population. while, in recent years, it is often said that the most essential thing about being rich is that gives them the chance of assistance., I am firmly convinced that is a crucial part of being rich; However, I believe that there are other much relevant aspects.
Nowadays, due to many factors, the health of global citizens is not the same as before. It is thought by someone that people's health in the future will be worse than it is today. I totally disagree with this statement because of the two following reasons.
