Cricket has become more popular than the national sports in the sub-continental countries. What do you think are the reasons behind this? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Cricket, traditionally an English sport, is becoming more and more popular sport in the sub-continental countries such as India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Australia and many more. In my opinion, there are mainly two reasons for this popularity, good performance of the team and financial reward they are receiving nowadays.

Nowadays, young people communicate with friends and family mostly through social networking sites, rather than other ways of communication like talking on the phone or face to face. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

These days, the young part of the population prefer to keep in touch with their parents or acquaintances through social media sites rather than having a conversation on the phone or face to face. It is my point of view that this is a positive development because it saves time and people are protecting their health.

There are many different types of music in the world today. Why do we need music? Is the traditional music of a country more important than the international music that is heard everywhere nowadays?

It is true that musics is really an essential part in our life and play a role in motivating or just simply make our moods be comfortable. Personally, I believe that traditional music of a country more important than other international music which is heard everywhere nowadays.

It is widely acknowledged that music play an vital role in our society. Some peopel insist that music is a good way of bringing all walks of people closer, from my point of view, I completely agree with the opinion.

Woman and men are commonly seen as having different strengths and weaknesses. Is it right to exclude males or females from certain professions because of their gender.

Nowadays, as having radically different strengths and weaknesses based on mentality and physicality, women and men have been facing a wide range of quandaries to be exclude from particular professions. From my perspective, it should be equal to give both genders the same opportunities at work and in life generally.

An increasing number of professionals such as doctors and teachers are leaving their own poorer countries to work in developed countries. What are the problems associated with and some possible solutions?

Professionals such as doctors and teachers from undeveloped countries are migrating to work in more developed countries. Due to this, poorer nations will struggle to develop, which will negatively affect the economy of the country. To tackle the issue, their government should offer better working conditions to them.

Some people believe that students in school learn better when they studying in group whereas others believe students learn better when they study their own. Discuss both views and give opinion.

Whilst, majority of individuals think that pupils study superior in school when they learning in group. However, others believe students learn better when they studying alone. I will discuss about both views in the following paragraphs.

When a country develops its technology, the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It is pointless to try and keep them alive. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion

It is stated that when a nation advanced in technology, many of the old skills fade out and certain aspects of our life disappear. I admit that technology effect our natural talent and the way of living however, I don’t support the idea of forgetting those skills.

Generally, Engllish is the most commonly used language around the world nowdays. Some people think the advancement in tourism sector assissted the situation and it could lead to vaninshing of other languaes. Having one language can have both positive and negative impact.

Advanced public transportation networks is a sign of developed countries in today modern world, It is been argued that authorities must utilize more money in train railways instead of roads. I believe it is a money well spent on railways and can bring several advantages.

Should wealthy nations be required to share their wealth among poorer nations by providing such things as food and education? Or is it the responsibility of the governments of poorer nations to look after their citizens themselves? Use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and with relevant evidence.

While all the people of one country are generally looked after by it's own local authority, it is generally thought by the proponents that basic rights of human being such as like education and foods need to be provided by the wealthier nations. In a nutshell, I do accord with the idea of assisting the poorer communities, especially in terms of dreaming a better world and helping ethically.

People buy electric device more than before. Is this a positive or negative development?

In the past few decades, more and more of people begins to purchase electric and electronic gadgets and equipment for their daily routine. Even though, these devices had certainly made a person’s life easier and quickly, there are few consequences that they have to face. Therefore, in my opinion, the dependence on these gadgets has had a huge negative impact towards the society and the environment.

It is true that new technologies have impacted greatly on the way children using their free time. While this has several benefits. I believe that overall the drawbacks are greater.

In today’s era, working and spending time with family both are essential to live a happy life. Individuals devote maximum time in a job in order to get promoted and earn more; however, they have handfull of time for themselves. Both the views will elucidate in following essay.

In today’s world, it is very important to have knowledge in multiple fields of interest as it helps oneself to have more than one way of earning money because of increasing competition. Due to continuous development in technology and science, it becomes necessary for people working in these areas to keep learning new things throughout their life, so their knowledge does not become outdated.

Nowadays, education is becoming more and more important as a many people are opting to obtain a university degree. Therefore, tertiary institutions now provide E- learning courses for their students. In my opinion, I believe this has brought more benefits than drawbacks for them.

Some people think that one of the ways to solve environmental problem is to increase price of fuel for cars and other vehicles. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, environmental crisis as a result of fuel combustion by cars and other vehicles are on the rise. This has given rise to the fervid question ' can an increase in price of gasoline for cars and other vehicle really mitigate this problem'?. Certain individuals opine that one way to ameliorate enviromental issue is to hike price of premium motor spirit. Personally, I totally cannot give credence to the advocates of that school of thought.

Many children are encouraged to do part time work by parents? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

It is believed that most of the children are persuaded by their parents to do any part time work. The primary advantage of working as a part time for children is to get financial help for thier studies which minimize the overburden of parents for paying their tuition fees and The main disadvantage is that they may get distracted from their studies which can have a devastating consequences on their future.

More dad's are staying at home looking after children.is this a positive or negative development.

In present times,more and more women have become breadwinner for their family while their husbands choose to stay at home looking after kids.In my opinion, this is a negative development due to its detrimental effects on growth of a newly born child and also increased societal pressure for father .

Some people believe famous people’s support towards international aid organizations draw the attention to problems, while others believe celebrities make the problem less important, discuss both views and give your own opinion.

People’s opinions differ as to whether it is necessary to set an upper limit on salary levels. While there may be some drawbacks of extremely high salaries, I still believe that some people deserve to receive higher pay than others.
