Nowadays most green energy is becoming ever more prevalent in both developed and developing countries. Some argue they greatly reduce costs and are better for the environment, others believe they are a serious threat to energy security. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

With the increase in globalization, the demand for energy has increased up to a great extent, which results in more nations are opting for renewable resources over oil-based sources to generate power. It is largely argued that the increase in usage of natural resources may lead to the extinction of such means. Considering both the views, I believe the advantages of green methods outweighs its disadvantages.

The imposition of capital punishment on heinous crime committance has always been an issue of controversy. While some people consider such sanction intolerable, others believe that such a penalty is necessary to maintain the decorum of the society. In this essay, I will discuss both arguments and explain my support for the latter view.

These days rapid expansion of mass media has been promoting both positive and negative things in society. It is increasingly common for families to send their elderly relatives to live in nursing homes, rather than take care of them at home. This essay will highlight some of the benefits and drawbacks that have resulted from this switch. Looking firstly at the positives, a significant advantage is that care homes are often much better equipped to deal with the demands of elderly people than family homes. For example, nursing homes do not usually have stairs, and for those which do, stairlifts or elevators need to be installed. This means that the typical mobility problems which tend to appear among geriatrics are not exacerbated. Not only this, but the staff who work at nursing homes have been professionally trained to manage the needs of the elderly. It is rare for family members to possess these skills. While many believe that by placing restrictions on the driving speed of an automobilies, we can minimise the possibility of road accidents, however, I disagree with this opinion as there are several other attributes which can lead to a driveway mishappening.
