According to the Ecological Systems Theory, the environment that a person lives in has the most significant influence on his/her personal development. Some argue that certain personal traits are closely associated with a person’s achievement. However, I will argue in this essay that social equality is the key to an individual’s success in general from two aspects: gender equality and education equality.

A decade back, books were considered the paramount source of knowledge, however, in the last 10 years, the internet has become a useful medium for expertise sharing. In my opinion this trend more disadvantages than advantages in terms of gaining cognitive abilities. The basic advantage of reading books is that reader has less chance of deviating from the subject and secondly, the authenticity of the material published on the internet is difficult to verify which is not the case with publications. A disadvantage of books could be their cost whereas online applications are cheap sources of knowledge.

A language is the identity of a culture and depicts its versatility to the world. In this regard, owing to the recent surge in people travelling and migrating excessively, a few translators quote that such movements of people, especially to developed English-speaking countries, could result in English dominating other languages and becoming the prominent one. In my opinion, it slowly becoming the widely spoken dialect at the global level has immense benefits and certain drawbacks.

In some parts of the world, the overall weight of the masses is proliferating, whereas the standard of fitness is coming down. This is primarily because of poor eating habits of masses and the sedentary lifestyle. However, these severe issues could be mitigated by absorbing a well-balanced diet and practising daily exercise.

Recently, everything has been changed from the traditional way to online like shopping or chatting with friends instead of meeting people or communicating face to face. There are several reasons behind this and as per my belief, it is a negative development, which leads to frauds, and hidden charges as well as isolation, and health issues.

Although some specialists believe that it is more beneficial for children to commence learning a foreign language at primary school, others believe it is more advantageous when these languages are taught in high schools. In my opinion, I strongly believe that the advantages of teaching kids a foreign language in primary school, far outweigh any drawbacks it may bring.
