Controversy has been engendered over the role of history in our daily life. While some people insist that there would be nothing to gain from doing research on what happened in the past, I reflect on the opposite view that history plays a crucial part in our lives.

It is believed that these days, thanks to various advances and breakthroughs in science and technology, we no longer need to use products from animals, such as food, clothing items or even medicine. I completely agree with this idea.

Experts throughout both the developing and developed world have debated whether the advent of sophisticated modern automation such as mobile phones, laptops and iPad have helped to enhance and improve people’s social lives or whether the opposite has become the case. Personally, I strongly advocate the former view. This essay will discuss both sides using examples from the UK government and Oxford University to demonstrate points and prove arguments.

When it comes to the daily usage of computers, people usually face the dilemma of whether the digital world has negative influences on youngsters or not. I do not see eye-to-eye with those who believe that demerits resulted by computers outweigh the advantages they offer.

Modern people are accustomed to single-use products and have a tendency to use them for a short period of time and after that to dispose of them. The main reason for it is the consumer mentality, which has a range of negative consequences for an individual and for society as a whole.

It’s generally believed that success in fields such as art and sport can only be achieved if a person has natural talent. However, it’s sometimes claimed that any child can be taught to become a good sports person or artist. Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

It is a debatable issue that, a achievement in the area of sport and arts, depends on the gift of the person or it can be taught from an early age. Many people have a view that, highest platform in the sport can be achieved only on the basis of talent. However, In my opinion, it can be achieved with the proper training, complied with the tremendous hard work and persistence.

It is argued by some people that a person should should keep doing the same job all throughout the life, while others prefer shifting jobs after a certain period. This essay will look at both sides and contend that frequently changing careers may be beneficial to some extent.

It is inevitable that as the Covid-19 is spreading, it will become a part of human life in the coming years. It seems that we have to learn to boost our immunity both physically and psychologically to survive under such a critical situation. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

To evade the century’s worst pandemic, COVID-19, health experts have the view that, we should have to learn to live with it. Anyhow, we should take precautions to stop spreading, but to develop immunity against it is the only solution and I somewhat agree with this notion. Imposing lockdown, staying at home, avoiding social gatherings, and wearing masks and precaution kits can’t be the lifetime solution.

Technology, the buzz of today, has improved the quality of life all over the world, but on the other hand it is proven to be the main reason in the damage of some traditional culture. According to some people automation and traditional cultures are incapable to be used together and I partly agree with that view.

The number of people whom have their own cell phone rocket dramatically in the last years. Consequently, many people concern about how widely the use of technology affects the socialization. In my perspective, the overuse of technology has been harmful for relationship among people.

Nowadays more and more people have access to the Internet. But constant availability of any information worsens people's memory and critical thinking skills. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In the era of this fast-moving world, the Internet has become part of our life. There are certain people, who opine that surfing the Internet frequently can deteriorate a person’s brain storage capacity and analytical skill. Although I agree that too frequently used the Internet has its downside, I think that properly utilize the Internet is also useful and beneficial in many ways.

A person’s worth nowadays seems to be judged according to social status and material possessions. Old-fashioned values, such as honour, kindness and trust, no longer seem important. Some people start giving respect to others by judging their pocket size and social status, nowadays they start giving more value to the materialistic and showing off persons rather than determining them through honour, kindness, trust, integrity and other moral values, and I totally agree with the statement.

Some people think that to produce a happier society we must ensure that there is only a small difference in earnings between the rich and the poor. To what extent do you agree?

Many people believe that to live in a community without any disparity in financial classes will lead our heart of happiness, while others stand firm on this statement. In my opinion, we rightly need differences in obtaining between the upper class and the lower class because we will lose essential jobs we need in our activity. Furthermore, the lower class lives a fabulous growth free from exploitation.

Some people think that foreign visitors should be charged more than locals when they visit cultural and tourist attractions in a country. To what extent do you agree with this view?

These days, we are witnessing a huge rise in the number of people having a great passion to visit other countries and their cultural places. It is universally accepted that maintenance of these historical attractions needs a specific budget in several aspects. A further significant thing should be mentioned is that, the tourism is a kind of business and has a host of benefits. In this essay, we will argue about this fact that, in my opinion, foreign visitors should be charged more than locals due to the reasons below.

In Britain, when someone gets old they often go to live in a home with other old people where there are nurses to look after them. Sometimes the government has to pay for this care. In several countries, seniors live in houses which offer care facilities such as nurses, who will make sure these older individuals are healthy and safe. Nevertheless, those places are not free, someone has to pay for it. Indeed, in some cases families contribute financially with it, but there are situations and places in the world where this is also a governmental responsibility. In my point of view, both groups should be involved as we know that there are old people who do not have a family.

People have different preferences towards to the types of lifestyles and regions they want to have and live in. Some are in favour of living in the warm weather, while others prefer to spend their life in a cold environment. In this essay, I will analyse both schools of thought and provide my point of view at the end.

Nowadays supermarkets are getting more popularity around the world. People are relying more on chain shops as it is convenient and less time-consuming. However, chain shops usually follow an intensive packaging strategy to distribute their products which are sometimes harmful for the environment. Some consumers believe that they should avoid the super shops to reduce the excessive packaging system while others believe that supermarkets should take initiative to avoid the warping materials.
