It is true that text messaging apps have made communication between people easier than it was in the past. However, it is common to see people using abbreviation and wrong spelling when they are using those technologies. In my opinion, those apps can be a serious threat to the language because of the way people use it affects both grammar and spelling.
Nowadays, people are becoming a fan of novels and television shows which are based on the crime fiction theme. From my point of view, people love to watch these types of tv series and love to read these types of novels because of the feeling of thrill, surprise, momentarily escape from reality, and for sake of entertainment.
Across the globe, in these days many individuals own guns for self-defence and recreational purposes. Gun-related mortalities in households – in particular – throw the ethics of such forms of private gun ownership into sharp relief. In this essay, I shall appeal to crime statistics to argue that a person is at a far greater risk being shot if there is a gun in a household.
A highly controversial issue relates to whether the best method to learn is studying in groups or if studying alone brings more benefits. In this essay, I will examine both points of view and explain why I believe that the arguments for studying alone are stronger.
