Nowadays animal experiments are widely used to develop new medicines and to test the safety of other products. Some people argue that these experiments should be banned because it is morally wrong to cause animals to suffer, while others are in favour of them because of their benefits to humanity.

In recent years, it is true that animal experiments experience a rapid growth, since they aid to create novel medicines and assess their safety. People hold contradictory sights about this issue: some of them discern that these experiments ought to be forbidden because they cause animals to pain, while other individuals support this view by virtue of its contribution to mankind. From my standpoint, I personally support the latter conviction.
