Some people believe companies should only promote those employees who has been working for a company for a long time. I am totally agreeing with those as it give workers working in a company more sense of appreciation.

There are some people who think that to be promoted to higher positions you have to work for a company for a long time. In my opinion, to be promoted to higher positions in a company depends on many different variants. As a result, this paper will be discussed why in many cases working in a company for a long period of time do not guarantee anyone to be promoted to higher positions.
Nevertheless, I believe performance is just as important as the length of service when it comes to promotion eligibility. Candidates with high performance level often own extensive relevant experience and technical skills, which are fundamental to the survival and sustainability of a company in the long run. Accordingly, offering those candidates with higher positions will inarguably benefit the company in terms of boosting the overall employee morale—motivating those junior and new employees to achieve higher performance in their current positions. For example, in the highly competitive computer engineering industry, a performance-driven promotion rewards and elevates those lower-ranking employees who are capable of delivering extraordinary innovations.

Promotion from work plays a crucial role in everyone's life. It is a debatable issue that only employee who are already working in a working area for last decade should get promoted to higher positions or other should get a chance to get promoted. However, I disagree with this statement that the only old staff member should be promoted.
In recent times, climbing the ladder is one of the important miles stones of every individual in a working role. There is a view that job-based elevation should be bestowed only to employees with a longer service in the organization. In my opinion, it is imperative that you acknowledge the tenure of an individual, ,however merit-based progress would benefit the company, in the long run, irrespective of their service.
Promotions help boost the morale of employees. Higher positions earn higher salaries and hence everyone wants to be promoted. Some people feel that only those employees who have worked for an organization for several years should be given promotion. I don’t agree with this view. In my opinion, the time spent in an organization should be just one of the criteria for determining an employee’s eligibility for promotion.
‘Working hour is proportional to promotion in every position ’. This notorious notion have dominated over 20 centuries, not just only for employers but for even employees. However, in this advanced era, this statement is fairly contraversial. Some people still argue that anyway If a person desires higher level of position, being workaholic is not avoidable. Meanwhile, there is other perspective that working hard do not result in power all the time
