Some children spend hours every day on their smartphones. Why is this the case? Do you think this is a positive or a negative development?

One of the most prevalent trends in the contemporary world is the cumulative increase in smart devices among youngsters. Large companies are developing different strategies and attract undergraduates. In my point of view, this is a negative development, in which technology restricts the growth of teenagers’ mental strength. This stance will be proven by carefully analysing how it is not beneficial for students.

Some people think that with the increasing use of mobile phones and computers, people lose the ability to communicate face to face. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is true that the dependence on mobile phones and computers has soared significantly.Therefore, some people harbour a belief that the tendency will weaken the ability to talk face-to-face, whilst others hold the reversed viewpoint. From my perspective, I am inclined to stand with the former opinion that relying too much on technological devices really has some drawbacks.

Many people try to achieve success through their career or education. What can success mean to different people? What is your view of success?

Success definition is different for every individual depending on their personality and opinion. Some believe that being wealthy is the answer, while others think that living a happy and healthy life with your family is the key. In some cases, people consider that it defines a person to become their best version and reach the highest point they can in their lives. Moreover, it is assumed that it could be seen through someone's academic achievement.

There is ongoing debate regarding the responsibility for instilling social competencies in children to ensure they become valuable members of society. While some argue that this duty lies solely with parents, others, myself included, contend that educational institutions also play a pivotal role. In this essay, I will delve into both perspectives.

There is a growing tendency to live alone or in small family units as countries develop. The phenomenon may be caused by the changing attitude towards life and the rising level of daily costs.It will lead to increasing burdens for both individuals and society.

It is true that some people believe music is a bridge to connect people from different cultures and ages. While I agree music is a form of common feelings expression, people who are older or conservative may refuse to understand music from different cultures.

It is thought by some that a school teacher's role is to motivate and inspire students. However, other people believe that a teacher's primary role is to pass on knowledge. What do you think is a role of a teacher?

As the education department nowadays keeps upgrading, there is a plethora of people assume that children must be got heated in the study by teachers in order to be more efficient, on the other hand, the rest vast majority believe that the role of teachers is just to share the intellect with students. In my opinion, I believe that the idea of motivating and inspiring students by teachers is completely flawless, but passing on knowledge also can be beneficial in some measures.

Some people argue that the most crucial purpose of studying about the world and the growth of science has to be to make the nations life easier and better to live in this globe. I completely agree with this statement, as from my perspective, the growth of science should be concerning making the world a better place and making life have a better quality in many aspects.

In the contemporary world, usage of one-time-use goods has become increasingly popular among households, offices, and restaurants. Various issues in our ecosystem can caused by waste from these products, especially those made of plastics. I will demonstrate the problems associated with this trend and the solutions that mitigate the risks to our earth and its inhabitants.

In the contemporary epoch, most of the old people are seen living solitary in society. This trend generates various problems like the generation gap and lack of care in old age. Public awareness and understanding of growing age needs are the possible solutions to this trouble.

Risk is part and parcel of our life.Taking risks in a good way always helps people to be successful in their lives as well as in their career growth.In this essay,I will discuss both the pros and cons and in my opinion,I believe that the pros of taking risks have the upper hand over than cons.

The last 50 years have seen a dramatic increase in the popularity of remote working. Yet, there remains some disagreement as to whether working from home is more beneficial than travelling to work or it should be banned. Although there are valid arguments to the contrary, in this essay I would contend that the advantages of working from home are incomparable with drawbacks. The reasons for this are as follows.

Many manufactured food and drink products contain high level of sugar, which causes many health problems. Sugary products should be made more expensive to encourage people to consume less sugar. Do you agree or disagree?

There are numerous processed foods which are high in sugar and increase the risk of health problems for people. A group of individuals presented the view that it is better to raise the price of products with high sugar levels to motivate people to eliminate their use of such goods. I strongly disagree with this idea.

There has been quite an obvious discussion about the topic of the best management. While some people believe that they should have a cold personality and also be bossy, I would argue that the good ones should be kind and take care of their staff, Which I will explain my reasons in the following paragraphs.

It is undeniable that distance learning has become popular as more institutes and companies are providing courses online. However, a lot of people still prefer to study in actual classrooms. Both methods have several merits and demerits.

Recently, there has been an increase in the number of elderly people around the world compared to the past. The people are separated into two groups:some believe that the ageing population is a burden in the community, whereas others think there are advantages to the growing elderly population. This essay will argue that the downsides of a large, ageing population outweigh the benefits.

Some employers are giving more value on hiring people with good social skills apart from good qualifications. Do you agree or disagree that social skills are just as crucial as good qualification for successful work?

Although it is crucial for employees to be able to socialize well , especially with customers, it should not be underestimated that some jobs need related qualifications, as well. From my point of view being both sociable and qualified are needed to fulfil most of the jobs nowadays.

In the modern world, many researchers claim that youngsters will change their social behaviours in some ways when they experience their lives rather than the development of adults. I think that this change relies on their behaviours instead of the change of age as the life-experiencing of individuals is an essential part of their lives. This essay will expound on my views and conclude the topic.

In this modern world, we have encountered overpopulation. To fulfill the nutritional demands of this ever-growing society, governments and scientists have to seek a solution. One solution is to employ science to modify crops to have more and higher quality products. This issue has brought a special concern regarding the health and environmental dangers of this kind of agricultural product.

In today’s fast-paced world, young people are in the face of seeking good jobs. It is a widely held belief that finance is the primary criterion when considering a career. From my perspective, I partly agree with this opinion.
