In the era of information, advertising exists in every aspect of our daily life. This leads to an argument over whether it manipulates our buying decisions or provides helpful insight about goods. This essay discusses both sides of this argument and then I will give my own perspective.
Nowadays, many modern technologies have been invented. Some people believe that those inventions have been giving them a lot more leisure time, while others argue that they actually have taken it away, leaving them feeling much busier than before. Personally, I see the new era of technology as something that brings more benefit and efficiency, helping me to reach my goals even quicker than ever so I can spare more time to relax.
Some suggest that governments should regulate water use strictly. I, however, do not share the same view, as I believe that authorities should inform the public about the consequences of using it carelessly and reward those managing to conserve it at home.
In the ancient days, people used to live in the Gurukulls in India and wear traditional uniforms, where they learned discipline and equality in their classrooms. While many institutions are very strict about their uniform code, others are lenient and have no dress symbol. However, regimentals bring equality and reduce bullying, but we cannot deny without uniforms some pupils feel better and motivated. Both sides of this essay will be discussed carefully before constructing an inference.
Nowadays, remunerations are being allocated exorbitantly. For many, this practice is a means to make the country better. However, others opine that the cash flow should be regulated and minimised. In this essay, although both sides of the argument will be discussed, I strongly believe that salaries should be disbursed as much as possible.
When one falls into a case of misfortune, for example working a poor job or being short on funds, there is one side of the population that argues that the individual should accept their case, while the other side believes that they should strive for improvement and escape their ill-fate. On close examination of both arguments, it can be gathered that seeking change can have a more positive outcome.
The rising average weight and declining fitness levels in some countries can be attributed to several interconnected factors. One primary cause is the widespread availability and consumption of high-calorie, low-nutrient foods. Fast food, sugary snacks, and processed meals have become staples in many diets, leading to increased caloric intake without corresponding nutritional value. Additionally, sedentary lifestyles have become more common due to advancements in technology. Many people spend significant portions of their day sitting at desks, using computers, or engaging in passive entertainment like watching television.
Nowadays, people increasingly prefer to shop online and have their orders delivered to their doorsteps. This is obviously an easier means for people as it eases a lot of stress, but has a few disadvantages. In this essay, I will discuss the demerits associated with the uprise in shopping online as well as the available jobs in virtual business.
Over the past couple of decades, technology has progressed astronomically. New inventions including spyware and communications have allowed the monitoring of the general public without their awareness. There are numerous advantages of blanket monitoring such as the foiling of terrorist attacks or finding criminals, but is this at the expense of freedom?
Many, if not all, people think that parents have the biggest influence on their children's lives. Therefore, some people believe that parents should bear the punishment for the crimes their children commit. In my opinion, parents should face a penalty for the actions of the child to a certain extent.
Due to urbanization, the population of cities is constantly growing. That causes many problems with traffic and housing. People need to live somewhere, so the demand for real estate is dramatically high. Building companies build more and more blocks to meet the needs of citizens occupying vital green areas and other public outdoor facilities. I strongly agree that all modern cities should have convenient outside infrastructure.
In recent times, the younger generation has been observed to migrate from their country to further their education. For many, this movement is for a great cause. However, others believe it is a detrimental decision to make. Whilst acknowledging that there are downsides to studying overseas, I strongly believe that its benefits take precedence over the disadvantages.
People would prefer to read online for free rather than buy physical newspapers or books in the coming years. In my opinion, I believe that different media can give special benefits to different groups of people, therefore I partly agree with this idea and will explain it further.
There has been a debate among people who have the urge to stay in the same career and who are in favour of changing jobs once in a while. While doing the same work offers financial stability and gradual progress, periodic job change, can challenge individuals and increase their work experiences and income. In the changing world, in my opinion, changing jobs might be more helpful for acquiring new skill sets and career development.
It is certainly true and totally agree that teenagers should do unpaid volunteer work for the community during their free time as this activity will be beneficial to themselves as well as society in various ways.
The debate over whether it is better for a country's economy for people to spend or save money is longstanding. This essay will discuss both perspectives and provide an opinion on which approach is more beneficial for a country's economy.
As technological advancements continue, the concept of space tourism is gaining increasing attention. Although some view space tourism as a promising development with significant potential benefits, others have concerns about its implications. This essay will explore both perspectives, and I believe a balanced approach is necessary to weigh the benefits against the drawbacks.
A plethora of individuals consider that smoking poses the greatest threat in today's society. If that happens, governments worldwide must ban all tobacco products. I wholeheartedly concur with this statement as cigarettes lead to severe illnesses and smokers set a poor example for children.
In today’s world, the number of people who prefer e-books over printed books is rapidly increasing. This trend raises questions about whether the benefits of e-books outweigh their disadvantages. From my perspective, I strongly believe that e-books are more advantageous than detrimental.
