People have different views about why people are interested in learning a foreign language. In my point of view, I agree that a foreign language can bring more benefits for people than two reasons above.

The rate of extinction is now greater than at almost any point in history and this is important not just for the species that are dying out, but also impacts humans. When discussing whether government funds should be directed towards faster public transportation, one should bear in mind the complexity of the issue. Others, in including myself, think that strengthening the local health system, due to the rapid increase in comorbid diseases, is much more important. In many countries nowadays, more and more women have full-time jobs as men, so there is logic that men and women should share the housework task equally. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In days of yore, household chores were considered to be women’s duty, so people took it for granted that women had to do all the housework without any assistance from other members, particularly their husbands. However, with a surge of full-time women in the workforce / with a growth of women working full-time / with an increase of female full-time employment, some people, especially feminists, start to problematize and challenge this gender-biased concept, suggesting that men and women should equally share household chores. As far as I am concerned, I strongly agree with / concur with this egalitarian belief to a large extent for two reasons.

In my opinion, it is quite disappointing that in most developed countries, these are not free of charge. I agree with this statement to a large extent as these two words are often thought of as something very basic and accessible to all, yet not without price.

In this world, full of hundreds of different languages, creating a new international language may create more trouble than completing any objectives. Creating a completely new dialect may cause an initial huge communication gap, and being relatively new dialect, people may often find themselves lost in translation.
