There is an opinion that, the authorities should impose limitations on the amount of monthly income one can receive from an employer, while the opposing point of view finds this beneficial for the country. This is while, in some areas of the world, a small minority earns disproportionately higher salaries compared to the rest. This essay agrees that there should be statutes to prevent massive income gaps between people, for two main reasons; first, this act would weaken the perception of unfairness amongst workers and would result in increased engagement and second, more money does not result in more satisfaction or motivation once one has reached a certain level of wealth and comfort in life.
