Some people say that the only reason for learning a foreign language is to travel or work in a foreign country. Others say that these are not the only reasons why someone should learn a foreign language. Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

Some may argue that people learning a different language so that they can use this language to travel or work in other countries, while some people say that learning language is not just for travel and work. I extremely believe that people learning a foreign language have several reason rather than only travel and work. In this essay, I would delve with both point of views and give my opinion.

Today the world is more connected than any time before and people from all over the countries can arrive at their destination within 24 hours. However, while this possibility permits for millions of individuals to encounter different cultures every year, the phenomenon of the international tourism brings also conflicts between people with different habits and customs.

Some people think space research is a waste of money. The government should spend that money on the improvement of people’s living conditions. What is your opinion on this IELTS topic?

It is being argued that governments exhaust their funding on researching the space, yet it has become ineffective. People claim that more money should be poured into improving people’s living quality on the other hand. I, personally, agree with this opinion as enough space exploration has been done and, sadly, we see our world suffering from real-time problems, such as poverty and hunger where additional money could easily fix these issues.

The debate weather it is a positive or negative development that today some countries have a higher percentage of the young people, compared to the number of the elderly people. In my opinion, the advantages of this trend clearly outweigh the drawbacks. In this essay, I shall analyse and examine the positive and negative aspects of this change and provide the supporting arguments for my selection.

It is true that people who are career - oriented from a young age may spend their whole lives with that job. In my personal view, I think this may work for some people, while others have their own way to make them feel satisfied about their jobs.

Experts throughout both developing and developed nations, often argues, whether children should be more encouraged to learn skills such as cooperation and team player or it is more beneficial for them to be competitive. In my opinion, learning these skills may bring better outcome in future. In this eassy, I shall examine a number of studies which shows that both viewpoints are, to some degree, justified.

It has been argued that the lack of housing in towns lead to unbearable social issues and merely the government authorities have the capability to handle those problems. However, I completely disagree with the statement because there are other platforms to resolve these issues.

Large organisation should participate in social welfare of the people. In the contemporary era, beside earning huge profits, social welfare measures go a long way to create a good image of the corporation. I totally agree that big businesses should be asked to be responsible for social well being and take appropriate steps towards the same. I will provide explanations in the ensuing paragraph of this essay.

With the advancement of technology,humans have adopted a comfortable way of living over the last decade.A huge number of population is purchasing a wide variety of items including the kitchen utensils and entertainment devices.In my view this is a positive trend in society and a step ahead to utlilize the latest inventions for own comfort.
