Media plays a significant role in communicating incidents occurring around the world; In recent days it has been argued that it focuses more on negative information rather than positive one. Some claim that such a phenomenon is harmful to individuals and society. Although I agree with this point to some extent, it spreads consciousness among the public by reporting the proactive measures of these happenings.
At present, more advertisements are made for children than before, and many people believe that this poses many bad impacts on our kids, so they should be prohibited. I completely agree with this statement, for most advertising of this sort has detrimental effects on children’s physical health and their mental development.
It is often argued that we can motivate young people who do not like to exercise through television sports shows such as Olympics. While sports shows can inspire the community to exercise, I strongly disagree that it is alone can be enough motivation to make people exercise.
These days, traffic is one of the growing concerns because of the growing population and the travel needs. Many people believe that vehicles' maximum speed limit must be reduced to improve road safety, whereas others claim that there are many other ways to tackle the issue. In my opinion, I believe that issuing penalties or suspending the driver's license, creating more road lanes and increasing traffic signals would help in improving road safety. This essay will discuss both the views and my opinion with supporting evidence.
It is considered that people are utilising their available time by watching television predominantly which in turn makes them feel less energetic, also, reducing their involvement within the community. However, I believe that many entertainment programs are beneficial,and I strongly agree that it has caused detrimental impacts on the behaviour of an individual.
