Gaining knowledge through different sources is imperative nowadays. Therefore, some think that while reading books an individual’s mind is more involved in processing the text and creating a mental picture of it to understand, rather than watching visual media. However, I only partially support this statement as I believe that the brain is equally active when doing both. My stance is elaborated in the further essay.
Population in rural areas has been decreasing drastically this is because nowadays in many nations individuals are migrating to cities for better lifestyles. I believe this could have an adverse impact as it is overcrowding the metropolis.
In recent days, more and more visitors have started travelling to iconic destinations merely to capture photographs of themselves, without showing genuine interest in the cultural heritage of the country they are visiting. This essay will explore the main reasons behind this growing phenomenon.
In this day and age, experiments on animals are used as a means of testing the safety of new medicines, and this issue sparks a debate about morality and ethics in society. While many people argue that they should be prohibited because these tests are morally wrong, others support the existence of such a matter due to the benefits it brings to humanity. The following essay is going to discuss both views and strengthen my support for the latter.
To cage an individual after he has been found guilty of his acts is the universal punishment inflicted by law. While some think that these criminals should go through long periods of imprisonment, others opine that offenders should be counselled by experts to transform them into good human beings. This essay will examine both ends before presenting my view.
There is no denying the fact that nowadays cities have huge developments by city planners and architects. While it is a commonly held belief that the new designs with all facilities are helpful for the city's dwellers, there is also an argument that opposes it. In my opinion, I consider that developing the cities and setting up schools, markets and offices is crucial for our towns.
The issue of who holds the greatest responsibility for protecting the environment is widely debated. Some argue that politicians should bear this burden, as the actions of individuals are too insignificant to bring about real change. While I agree that governments and policymakers play a pivotal role, I firmly believe that individual responsibility is equally vital and that meaningful progress depends on a joint effort.
There is a common belief that the only way to master a language is to live in a place where it is spoken. While immersion can be a great acceleratory factor, I tend to disagree that it is the only route to success and that it is absolutely necessary. In fact, with the right mindset and access to modern resources, learners can achieve fluency without ever leaving their homes.
The argument about the total amount of working time per week has been continuously debated in the last decade, with some people believing that the weekend should be longer and the working days should be reduced. From my point of view, I disagree with this statement and the reasons for that will be discussed in the following paragraphs.
Improving Road Safety Through Periodic Driving Tests
In today’s world, celebrities such as actors, musicians, and athletes earn millions of dollars every year. Some people believe that they are paid far too much for what they do. Personally, I partly agree with this view because, although their work is valuable in some ways, the huge amount of money they receive is not always fair compared to other important jobs.
Some people think celebrities earn too much money. Do you agree or disagree?
While some countries support the idea of having a legal drinking age, others are not in favour of it. The absence of laws limiting the consumption of alcohol to certain ages can be favourable in some regards, but I personally advocate for the imposition of age restrictions on alcohol intake.
Media has become an essential source of information in this globalized era. It's believed that news channels should focus more on local news rather than continuous broadcasting of international affairs since the local population feels more resonated with the former. However, from my perspective, I believe that--due to globalization--knowledge of foreign affairs is as necessary as one's own regional affairs; hence, more and more should be televised on news channels.
Over the past ten years, air travel has risen significantly due to low cost, airline budgets and the growing need for international travel for work, education and tourism. While it has positive and negative effects , I believe that it is largely beneficial.
Some people believe that advertisements aimed at children should be banned, especially during prime time when children are most likely to watch TV. I strongly agree with this viewpoint, as I believe such advertising can negatively influence children’s behavior and place undue pressure on families.
The use of news media should be limited because they cover full-length incidents that have a negative impact on society. I partially agree with this statement as it has both negative and positive consequences, will explain my thoughts in the upcoming paragraphs.
It has been debated whether it is an academic degree or it is emotional intelligence skills more crucial for finding a job. In this essay, I will compare these stances and give my opinion.
Choosing a domain of study at the high school level is a tough decision. Many students are quite clear about their aim in life while others still wonder and are still in the thinking mode of deciding a career pathway. I firmly believe that adolescents at this school level should be permitted to select the area of study of their choice. This is because, these studies will keep them motivated and help them to achieve success with passion.
It has been argued that people are required to help their surrounding community rather than donate to more general charity corporations. While I believe those organizations are able to spend that voluntary income much better, I partially oppose the idea. I think that closer and local charities are far more trustworthy than the ones across the globe.
