There is a debate over the topic of whether schools should prioritize soft skills such as working in a team and problem-solving abilities or if teaching default academics is a more optimal approach. While traditional academics have some benefits, I partially agree with this standpoint since soft skills are more valuable and can be applied in everyday routine as they foster communication with people and social interaction.
The automobile industry has undergone a massive transformation and this has empowered individuals to own personal automobiles for commuting. While the initial notion of each individual owning a personal vehicle seemed to cater to the welfare of people, however, the growing number of cars on the road has led to unintended consequences. One by-product of this is traffic congestion being formed in cities.
Due to the globalized world, more and more information is accessible on the Internet, and some believe that museums and art galleries are losing their necessity. I absolutely agree that people can find historical and cultural information online. However, I believe that museums and art galleries are still essential for society.
In today's fast-paced world, it is essential to have public spaces in urban and the countryside to promote social function, and physical activities such as sports and exercise, and to give people a place to relax and connect with nature. I strongly agree with the view that having large public spaces can yield a positive outcome for the physical and mental well-being of the community.
People often believe that taking risks is essential in both professional and personal life. While risk-taking involves uncertainty, I believe the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, as it often leads to success, personal growth, and financial rewards.
Some individuals argue that the circumstances of a crime, and the reason for committing it should be considered whereas others believe that fixed punishments should be given for each type of felony.
There is a view that life skills such as teamwork and problem-solving should be taught more effectively rather than focusing solely on traditional subjects. I agree with this notion because these skills are extremely necessary for future life. However, I also believe that traditional academic knowledge should not be ignored, as it provides essential foundations for various aspects of life.
While some university students are keen to study other subjects apart from their majors, others think that they should fully focus on their main subjects in order to obtain qualifications. This essay will discuss both views and explain why I believe that learners should attend other classes regardless of their main subjects.
