In recent years, the growing emphasis on English education in schools has raised concerns about the survival of local languages. While some argue that learning English is essential in today’s globalised world, others worry that neglecting native languages may lead to their extinction. In my opinion, English should indeed be taught in all schools, but not at the expense of indigenous languages, which must also be actively preserved.
In contemporary society, there is a considerable debate over whether children have excessive freedom. In my opinion, while possessing freedom for children does have merits in future development, the parents and educational institutions should be held responsible for setting boundaries to prevent further harm to children.
