Although more and more people read the news on the internet, newspaper will remain the main source of news for the majority of people. Do you agree or disagree with the statement?

It is believed that the number of people who read the information and other documents on the internet, is on the rise, nowadays. However, the traditional printed papers provide continually the major storages for news for a variety of citizens. In my opinion, I completely disagree with this view.

In many countries, today crime novels, and TV crime dramas are becoming more and more popular. Why do you think these books and TV shows are popular? What is your opinion of crime fiction and TV crime dramas?

Nowadays, novels and television series describing various cases of crime are becoming a hot topic around the world, especially for young people, those are overly addicted to this kind of TV programmes and/or books. There are several possible causes for this occurrence, which I will discuss it in this essay, as well as give my view on this matter.

It is very important to recycle materials and reduce the amount of waste, and teach these principles to the children, but there is a disagreement among the experts about the appropriate place for educating the children. Some believe schools are the best place for teaching the value of recycling, whereas others consider homes as the best location. This essay will discuss both points of view and I shall argue that the children should be educated about this important issue at home.

While some think collecting data could be achieve the function by using research engines at home, so that libraries should no longer exist in the future. However I believed that libraries still have their unique functions, so that it is worthy to invest.

Dangerous / Risky activities are now becoming quite popular and many people start engaging in these risky sports, for example, hang-gliding and mountain climbing. People participate in these extreme sports for several reasons. Despite the arguments against this practice, I believe this is a good trend.

Extracurricular activities are so much crucial for a student. Some experts suggest that this type of activity is unnecessary for them as it hampers their regular studies. In my opinion, the extra classroom activity should be made compulsory for every student because of its multifarious advantages.

In the recent years, the growth of the Internet has been phenomenal. However, some people are sceptical about the effects of the online communication on social interactions. Although there are convincing arguments on the both sides, I am convinced that the Internet is improving human communications.

At present, the rate of obesity is increasing rapidly. Gaining weight is a major issue around the world, owing to bad food habits. Many people think that it can be resolved by increasing the price of fattening foods. As per my concern, I agree with the statement, but it cannot work all the time.

Alternative forms of medicine are gradually gaining popularity. Many believe that these types of treatments are not only useless, but also hazardous to the patients. Although there are strong arguments on both sides, I strongly believe that these other types of therapeutic options have questionable safety and efficacy.

Some people think artificial intelligence robots will take the position of humans jobs in the near future. Though some think all works can be replaced by robots, but it is not possible to get detailed, accurate finish jobs like humans. This essay will discuss that only the minority number of jobs will be done by humans.

Some people believe that the prevalent advertisement techniques used by different companies are not in line with the society's ethical and moral values. Nowadays, many parents focusing more on their children to learn English in schools comparable to native language. They believe that without the English their kids would not survive in the competitive world. In my opinion, it is necessary for each student to learn English and at the same time they should respect our native language. Some people believe that the best way to ascertain a pupil's academic performance is through formal examinations, rather than different forms of continuous assessment. Although there are strong arguments on both sides, I strongly believe that formal examinations are the best barometer of a graduate's educational progress.

People have different views about the exploitation of animals which could benefit mankind's living.
