In recent decades, technological advances and the internet have changed our lifestyle in many ways. It is argued by some people that this progression and digital devices have made people more isolated. Despite having some drawbacks, I disagree with this argument and this essay will discuss this topic.

These days, internet-based courses have become a popular alternative to university-based courses. Some students prefer this type of learning because they do not need to attend lectures. Others, however, argue that it is important to stay at university. Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

One of the most ground-breaking inventions nowadays is considered to be the Internet technologies which allow us to take various courses online and even obtain certificates or university degrees. As it should be, different people have distinct mindsets. While some students choose online learning over attending lectures on campus, others claim that staying at university is more favourable. The following paragraphs would shed light on both the approaches before making a final note.

As a result, people without cars have limited access to out-of-town stores, and it may result in an increase in the use of cars. Do you think the disadvantages of this change outweigh its advantages?

Nowadays, people have a tendency to go to large shopping centres which are based on the outskirts, therefore, many small stores in the central city are on the verge of bankruptcy. Although the large out-of-town shopping malls can have several drawbacks, I believe that the merits of this are more influential than the shortcomings.

Due to recent advances in communication technology, the mobile phone has become a part of our daily life. When compared to earlier years, People nowadays depend on mobile phones more than anything and it has become an important accessory. But, a lot of social and health related problems have arisen due to over dependence. In my opinion the Negatives out wins the positives.

There exists a common fallacy that verbal language is dominant in comparison with non-verbal one. Despite a huge number of proponents of this controversial statement, I could assert my opinion with utter certainty that both two forms are of contextually equal importance. This essay would make an attempt to shed some light on my assertion.

Museum is the best place to experience the ancient things. It enables people finding information about history and culture. Environmental problems aren't new to the mankind and we've always been successful in addressing those issues with strong determination. While there is very little that we can contribute towards the problem as an individual, many people expect government and large organizations to handle such issues. However, I would argue, without support from the masses, there would be a tiny scope for win-win situation

Although it is sometimes argued that zoos ought to be closed because of a brutal attitude to animals, there are those who believed that they are the best places to protect different species. In my opinion, the cruelty that animals suffer from outweighs any benefits zoos can provide, and that they should be shut down.

Nowadays people should finance an exploration of other planets, such as Mars, because some individuals believe that different ones might be occupied by new generations in the long run. I completely agree with this owing to the uncontrolled consumption of natural resources of our planet and the rising level of pollution.

Some sports are popular among young people as a great place to set their career. Whilst some people believe that physical skill is the main factor for being successful in athletics, others argue that different factors are also matter. Effective communication is the main aim of any television program or newspaper. To communicate, most of the time, they use pictures along with the words. Many are of the view that these pictures have more effect as compared to words. Though the importance of words cannot be ignored, I completely agree with the view that by using pictures, one can interact in an efficacious manner.

Governments should not have to provide care or financial support for elderly people because it is the responsibility of each person to prepare for retirement and support him or herself. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Some people argue that, the government should not provide the personal care and the financial support to their elderly people in the country, where they explained that, it's an each person's responsibility to have their retirement fee to support themselves. I strongly disagree with this statement, hence the government should not ignore them, as everyone will not have the opportunity to obtain a retirement fee.

It is often argued that it is ok to have exclusive jobs for men or women, some others have the opposite view and believe that men and women should have equal opportunities when applying for a job. This essay is going to disagree with the belief that Job vacancies should be restricted to either gender. The reason for this is Job fairness, diversity and the probability of losing talented applicants.

As the rate of teenage offences has been increasing in many nations. Some people suggest that minor criminals should be sentenced at the same as adults. From my perspective, I completely disapprove with this statement for several reasons. The idea with my own opinion together will be further discussed and elaborated in this essay.

People believe that in order to reduce road accidents it should be mandatory for drivers to retake the driving test every 3 years. Do you agree or disagree with the above statement?

There is no doubt that road accidents have increased in vast numbers across the globe. Some people are of the opinion that recurring the driving test of the drivers after every quarter of the year will help minimize road accidents. However, I completely disagree with the above statement and believe that road infrastructure should be improved and people should follow traffic rules to reduce these accidents.
