Nowadays technology is increasingly being used to monitor what people are saying and doing (for example, through cellphone tracking and security cameras). In many cases, the people being monitored are unaware that that this is happening. Do you think the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

In this era of science and technology, its very easy to monitor the activities of the people by using mobile phones and spy cameras. The individuals being monitored are mostly unaware. The main reason for such an activity is to curb any terrorist activity and I believe that this reason is enough to outweigh the disadvantages like a breach of privacy.

Nowadays, it's uncommon to see classes being conducted through online applications such as the zoom or Google classroom. All of this is possible due to technological advancement which enable students to obtain information more readily. Hence, many people think online teaching is better than traditional classes. In my opinion, I completely disagree with this statement because this will not provide the same effect as classroom teaching.

In the contemporary era, tourism is considered as an economical backbone in several countries. It provides plethora employment opportunities for those who might be unemployed otherwise. The situation has both pros and cons. However, in my viewpoint, the advantages have outweighed the disadvantages, which will be discussed in the subsequent paragraph.

As urbanization intensifies, urban design is also considered important. Planners pursue that commercial districts and residential areas should be distinguished. Although I acknowledge that this suggestion has its downsides, I personally think that the advantages are far more obvious.

The best way to solve the world’s environmental problems is to increase the cost of fuel. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

No one disagrees that one of the highest priority today to find an explanation to the various environmental problems facing humankind. Of all the ways suggested to achieve this, imposing taxes on the fuel is a controversial tactic. Being aware of the effectiveness this measure would bring, I do not agree that this is necessarily the most desirable quick fix.
