Some people believe that a gap year between school and university is a good idea, while others disagree strongly. Consider both sides of this debate and present your own opinion. You should give reasons for your answer, and include ideas and examples from your own knowledge and experience.

While gap years are increasingly popular, they continue to be rather controversial because the benefits are hard to quantify exactly. There are arguments on both sides of this very topical debate, and I will discuss them now. On the one hand, opponents of gap years point to the cost involved in areas such as air fares, accommodation and living expenses. All this money has to come from the student’s family, or even from borrowing to be paid later. Secondly, it is often said that gap years take a young person’s focus away from studying, and allows them to get involved in distractions such as travelling. This can make it hard to adjust to university life, damaging the student’s performance. Finally, there is a concern over the safety of young people if they are travelling to remote places. We have progressed rapidly with the technological revolution over the years. With this advancement, our environment is undergoing a process of change which most of the times is not pleasant for us. Undeniably, technology has simplified and enhanced our quality of living but at the same time, it’s misuse has brought up some discomforting issues which are detrimental for the stability of our environment. There has been always arguments whether children have become more selfish ,if they made their own decision in their daily issues, while others believe that this idea would make them more careful about the probable effects which every choice would have.

Like it is generally agreed always, on a continuously changing world, ways of affecting people can be shaped various. Peoples that are living on the planet with an advanced media industry consume visually products rather than written things. This essay will argue why some people have been choosing from new kind of technologies about communicating from visual kind of things such as photography or film and why the written things such as mail and newspaper always will be chosen by old generations and will not to be chosen by young generations.

In corporate offices, a lot of high profile positions are managed by male authorities even though more than half of the working staff is female in developed countries. Many working people get little or no exercise either during the working day or in their day time and have health problems as a result.why do many working people not getting enough exercise. What can be done about this problem ?

Undoubtedly ,a lot of people who are working less or not getting exercise at all ,it could be resulted in the health concerns.In my opinion, there are myriad of reason behind this , such as,after the long working hours people lost energy and feel exhausted made them to relax after work .The remedial measures should be ,the employers should take initiative to consider the employee health and they can introduce some time for daily workout at work place.

A lot of money is spent on repairing old buildings. Instead of repairing old buildings that money should be spent on knocking down old building and building new ones. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

Looking around, the once deserted and plain lands are now filled with buildings. Old rusty buildings in today’s society still exists to preserve what is left of it, while newer and more asthetic ones continue to be built. It is said that more money is spent on repairing old buildings, but I agree with the notion that money should be spent on knocking down old buildings and building new ones in consideration for the cost beared and the safety of the citizens living in the apartment.

Today, the vast majority of people are opting to start their own business instead of working for other companies. In my opinion, economic freedom could be a key factor why people may prefer entrepreneurship and the main disadvantage could be lack of experience and its effect on business.

In some area of the US, a ‘curfew’ is imposed, in which teenagers are not allowed to be out of doors after a particular time at night unless they are accompanied by an adult. What is your opinion on this?

There are a number of places where American youngsters are prevented from leaving their homes after dark unless they are supervised by a grown-up. I personally agree that young people should be restricted from leaving their homes for various reasons.

To pay people on their production and selling is believed by some people the perfect method to get them stimulated and prompted. I somewhat disagree with that view.
