Also, in the past old people did not have enough technological advancements of several gadgets as well as the infrastructure was not developed compared to the present time. Nowadays, many people having health issues are relying on traditional medicine and therapies more than general western medicine. I think this is a negative development mainly due to these traditional remedies are not effective in emergency situations and also most of these are not authorized.
