Many people believe that students in university shouldn't pay any tuition fees and that the government should make education free for all without considering someone's financial background. In my view, I strongly agree that learning must be without any expenses for everyone no matter if they can afford it or not.
The happiness of each person is individual and is affected by a lot of factors. Some people say that money is the most efficient way to be happy, while others consider that financial wellness is not so crucial. This essay explains both points of view.
There is a saying from Alice in Wonderland: “The best gift you could have given her was a lifetime of adventure.” In essence, travel, per se, takes us to unknown places where we can learn various perspectives and cultures, undergoing several challenges. These adventures shape who we are, lasting permanent and strong memory.
Recently, many people are suffering from poverty around the world. As a result, this increases health issues and the crime rate, but this can be solved by offering more job opportunities and providing free healthcare.
People are unaware of the ways to handle their finances resulting in poor monetary decisions and unfortunate life events. They cannot discern effective spending from wasting money and so, they begin to spend senselessly until they are drowning deep in debt. To stop this from happening, one should recognise this pattern and divert their attention elsewhere with whatever help one can get.
If a foreign visitor has only one day to spend in Thailand, I would recommend they visit Bangkok's Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha). These iconic landmarks are not only steeped in rich cultural history but also offer a unique glimpse into Thailand’s royal and religious heritage, making them a must-see for anyone visiting the country.
As a comprehensive ageing society looms, the pros and cons of employing the elderly if their fitness allows have become a hot topic. From my perspective, on the one hand, this tendency will alleviate the financial pressure resulting from society's ageing; on the other hand, it to some degree deprives the elderly of the right to accompany their families.
Nowadays some humans argue that zoos help to defend wild animals, whereas others believe that they should be closed down because of poor conditions. This essay will include both sides and conclude that zoos ensure good facilities and safety for fauna.
An often debated topic is whether a government should provide its country’s artists with assistance. Many believe such support is a prudent use of a nation’s wealth and should thus be encouraged. However, others argue that this kind of spending is wasteful. Both sides of the argument will be discussed in this essay before a conclusion is reached.
It is believed that almost all transports will be upgraded to autopilot in the future. People will be able to travel as passengers in the vehicle. I think the numerous advantages of a driverless car outweigh its disadvantages.
The education system has diversified and people now have the options of physical or online training. Due to technological advancement, many people prefer online distance-learning programs while others think that it is not as beneficial as attending colleges. I completely agree with the opposing opinion because university training is beyond the lecture materials alone. Social and multicultural exposure on campuses are important parts of the learning experience.
Deranged health statistics are on the rise especially when it comes to the pediatric age groups. The most disturbing one in Australia is the upward trend of childhood obesity, and now, the necessary approach to combating it has become a debate among citizens. While a lot of individuals suggest that the responsibility of monitoring school children's diet should be on the school, however, I totally disagree with this take because I believe that parents should be in total control of how a child is raised when it comes to their diets.
Being willing to take risks is often valued in the occupational as well as private life of each individual. This essay will argue that the advantages of this outweigh the drawbacks. The essay will first demonstrate that risks can not only prepare individuals for an unpredictable future but also foster a fearless mindset, both of which are crucial for personal and professional growth, followed by an analysis of how the primary disadvantage, the risk of regret, is not valid.
It has been said that for an organization to thrive, managers must look beyond salary and wages. I wholeheartedly agree with this perspective.
Over the past few decades, culture and family beliefs have evolved, and people now practice it differently unlike before. For instance, the roles of the extended family are now a debate that many seek answers to. Some think that it is no longer important while others are still in support. However, I believe that family positions and lineages form the cultural architecture that can never be disregarded in society.
Due to the recent advancements in technology, most types of work have been automated and the need for manual work may be finished in the next decades. In this essay, I discuss the merits and demerits of these changes. In general, the pros outweigh the cons.
In the world of sports today, brand advertisement has not just become a global trend only but has also established itself as an integral part of the game in terms of financial benefit and sponsorship. While many individuals think that it has a lot of benefits, others have an opposing view. In my opinion, I think its advantages outweigh the shortcomings.
There is an ongoing debate about the influence of advertising. Some claim that it encourages people to buy items they do not need, while others argue that advertisements introduce useful products that can enhance our lives. I support the latter viewpoint because of the value information ads provide.
It is argued that tariffs on junk sustenances should be levied because the health risks associated with consuming this kind of product are rising. This essay agrees that a higher rate of money should be paid by people. Firstly, some companies already increased the prices of their sugar-containing products; secondly, a higher price could lower consumption.
The past 50 years have seen a dramatic increase in life span in many nations. Some may criticise its inconvenience and significant treatment costs, however, I intend to argue that the benefits of having an ageing population far outweigh its drawbacks. Two of the primary benefits associated with this trend are as follows.
