Many countries thought that children have to do homework in their free time while other say children should do more outdoor activity. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

So many nations throughout the world are in an opinion that kids have to finish their homework in their leisure hours. Some other countries believe that they need to spend their free time doing outdoor activities. I strongly disagree with the statement that the children need to spare their free time for studying. Studying after school hours will give mental stress to children and playing will enable children to stay fit both mentally and physically.

Advertising discourages people from being different by making them want to be and to look the same. Do you agree or disagree?

There has been a belief that people these days have very similar appearances due to the far-reaching influence of advertising. Whilst there is a grain of truth in this notion, I opine that advertising is not the only factor and people do not always look the same.

To solve the ever-increasing environmental hazards throughout the world, the best way is to increase the price of fuel. What is your opinion on the above assumption?

Some people reckon that by escalating the prices of fuel we can mitigate the environmental hazards.However, from my perspective, raising the price of combustible is not the sole way to tackle this issue , although, there are some other ways too .

Initially, nowadays the stress-related illnesses have become increasingly popular in our society, because of this people are even more wear out physically and mentally. This essay will discuss two main causes of stress, including the overwhelming workload and the lack of free time for social activity. And also, it will suggest two main solutions to these problems, including better conditions in the work`s environment and a work-life balance.

Traditional ideas from older people about the way to live and behave are not helpful to young people and their futures. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is argued that the older generation is not capable of providing meaningful and helpful pieces of advice for younger generations because of substantial changes carrying out in modern society. I am inclined to agree with this statement completely and I believe social values, norms as well as a usual way of living have changed so drastically that traditional concepts about how to live and behave are impractical and obsolete.

The examination is a method of evaluating a person’s knowledge and understanding. It often helps in analyzing the standard of learning a toddler has acquired during a specific period. Some people believe the assessment is the best way of understanding a child’s intelligence and intellect. However, I believe tests often undermines a child’s true potential.

It is considered that the responsibility to instil in patients ways to be healthier ought to lie with doctors. I completely support this statement, as this would both help to curb the attempts of self-treatment and the use of unrecognised alternative therapies among people.

In Sri Lanka, the normal retirement age is 55 years in general for all professions. Some argue that this is unfair to certain professions and they should be given an early retirement with acceptable compensation. In my opinion, there is a greater validity for this notion when it comes to certain occupations.

Lately, the governing bodies are inclined to invest largely in science and research subjects in schools rather than following the standard norm. Some people agree with this approach as they feel this change will bring out development. While others quibble from them. I somewhat agree with the former notion and in this essay, I will discuss it in brief.

Nowadays, harassment is considered to be a major issue in schools. Not only, it leaves an impact on the life of the child who is being dominated but also it brings a change in the kid who is performing the act. This essay will discuss the acts which lead to bullying and will also, delve into the possible solutions for the same.

I partly agree with this view.In this essay, I will explain my thoughts and reasons.

Being physically fit is a vital part of our lives. While few people believe that going to the gym is a means to maintain fitness, others think that other kinds of exercise can lead to a healthy body. This essay will discuss both the aspects of the statement and I will give my opinion on why other forms of exercise are better than going to a gym.

It is very much true that, humanity is the best way of living. Honer and faith are much needed to build a good relationship between the people. Therefore, a fair amount of people believes that recognition must come from the heart but not by financial status and I totally disagree with this statement and would like to express my thought process on why we need to have trust and honour than property.

One of the most conspicuous trends of today has seen a colossal surge in the belief that economic development is imperative for poor countries, similarly, there is a dire need to help undeveloped or underdeveloped nations by the richer authorities to provide some services. I, thereby, do not totally agree with the aforementioned statement as a poor homey should endeavour to provide services for their citizens and behind this other factors are also responsible.

There has been a suggestion that the government should not allocate as much taxpayers’ money to remedy those who are already suffering from medical problems. Instead, it ought to be channelled to the promotion of a health-enhancing way of life. I opine that this idea is flawed. In fact, which are the money should go to primarily depends on the situation at a specific time as each measure has its own merits.

A significant amount of money is spent yearly by countries for public celebrations like national holidays and public festival. Some part of the population believes that too much money is dedicated to this and the funds should be used on more useful things. I understand the point of these people but I strongly disagree.

Learning is a continuous and lifelong process across all domains. While some people view teaching elementary academy teenagers how to plant legumes and caring for creatures brings various beneficial to their mental and physical development, others oppose it. This essay asserts that its merits supersede its demerits.

We can all unanimously agree to the fact that we all should strictly abide by the rules of the government and any laws or rules implemented is to have a huge impact on the country. However, I believe in a 'single man army' and contend that every individual has the potential to make a change in the environment we live in. The below paragraphs will elaborate on my thoughts in detail.

In the modern age, technology has been replacing everything for instance some public centres provide not only booklet but also expensive hi-tech media. However, many populations are nostalgic as they still prefer novel instead of convenient ways like e-books or software and also believe that hi-tech media in public places are wasting money. From my perspective, I strongly agree with this trend.

Playing sports boost our immunity level and strengthen our body, therefore, it makes us physically fit,hence it is individuals opinions for opting for their sports ,consideration in their mind of its hazardous outcome. So I will illustrate the positive impact and detrimental effect on our society.
