Some people say that advertising is extremely successful at persuading us to buy things. Other people think that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it. Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

People’s beliefs differ as to whether or not advertising is effective on individuals’ decisions; However, others may argue the fact that advertising is not effective anymore, due to the high numbers of advertising. I firmly believe the latter view is valid which will be justified with the rationals below.

For some communities, Advertising plays a successful role in persuading people to purchase products whereas some claim that equipment advertising provides a sense of irritation, which most populations pay less attention to. Personally, advertising provides many benefits in marketing goods to the organisation and customers.

In order for a person to have some money, he needs to have a job. However, there is an argument for and against having a satisfactory job and money if one should just accept the shortage of money or lack of a satisfactory job or if they should try to improve the situation. It is true that climate change is getting more serious in the last few decades, thus, there are mixed views as to the use of fossil fuels. Some people believe communities have to use alternative energy sources instead of fossil fuels. In my view, using fossil fuels should be accepted for various aspects.

The recent advancement in technology has brought about many benefits around the world. This, however, has resulted in reduced sales of hardcopy books and newspapers since anyone can access the internet and get these materials for free. Based on this, it looks likely that in the near future, everyone will be reading ebooks and electronic newspapers since these are free. Personally, I strongly agree with the notion of opting for non-chargeable books and newspapers via the internet. This essay will provide reasons why I believe so.

There is a controversial statement heating a debate over whether law-breakers should be well-educated and trained while being kept in captivity. Personally, I consider myself an advocate of this perspective due to the redeeming features that it might bring to offenders as well as the whole society.

Opinions diverge on whether teenagers should spend their leisure time doing required unpaid community work as this can be beneficial for both individuals and society. While it is true that the young should be required to do unpaid work, it is my belief that unpaid community work should only be encouraged among teenagers.

Other think that the true function of a university should be to give access to knowledge for its own sake, regardless of whether the course is useful to an employer. What, in your opinion, should be the main function of a university.

The global recession has led to a rise in unemployment, leading some to believe that universities should primarily provide job-related skills and knowledge. Others, however, believe that universities should return to the essence of nurturing people and do not take too much into account the requirements of employers. My view is that universities can be both knowledge-providing and job-oriented at the same time.

Recruitment of staff is one of the most complicated and challenging tasks for the organisation. Setting up the retirement age is always debatable, but now it has become more and more controversial. In this Cut-throat era, certain human resource researchers vehemently suggest that employers should not retire senior staff until they are not physically active. I am in partial agreement with the given topic as certain work profiles require the young generation. It is argued by some people that earning money is good for the younger generation while others believe it is harmful to them. Activities will have an impact on children. I will reason why the advantages outweigh the drawbacks in the forthcoming paragraphs.

In the future all cars, buses and trucks will be driveless. The only people travelling inside these vechiles will be passengers. Do you think advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

In the upcoming years, vehicles such as motor cars and lorries can be driven by artificial intelligence. While there are drawbacks to driverless cars, I personally accept the view that cars without drivers will be beneficial to us.
