Other people believe that it is important for children to make decisions about matters that affect them. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

In this day and age, an increasing number of parents are allowing their offspring to make decisions on daily matters, namely clothes, food and entertainment, based on their own desire. Numerous people claim that this might trigger selfish individuals in the future, whereas others argue that it is vital to let youngsters choose what they like. In this essay, I will discuss both mentioned views before drawing the conclusion why I lean toward the latter.

People argue if we could build more residential apartment buildings near the city centre to replace the parks and gardens to reduce commuting time. From my point of view, such measures may not produce the results we originally wanted.

People have different views about well-known people's support towards international aid organizations. While some people think celebrities make the problems less important and bring counterproductive results, I believe that support of celebrities will create public awareness about the problems that need to be dealt with and has a hugely positive effect on the whole society.

It is neither possible nor useful for a country to provide university places for a high proportion of young people. To what extent do you agree or disagree.

Today, study plays a crucial part in the development of a nation as a whole. However, it is often believed that it is impossible and rather useless for a country to provide admission to university to a larger per cent of students. If questioned, I agree with this view to a large extent. My inclination will be elaborated with examples in the ensuing write-up.

Critics said that students shouldn't work before enrolling in university as they will have plenty of time to do so sooner or later. I am strongly against this affirmation for two reasons, firstly taking a gap year provides youngsterswith a more thorough career-plan beforehand, and ,secondly it can propose an alternative plan for those who perform not so well at school .

Advertising has played a big role in the recent past and many advancements have been made in marketing a product. Some people believe that advertising has played a significant role in persuading us to buy things whereas others think that we are used to it and we do not pay attention to advertisements anymore. In my opinion, advertising plays an important role and is successful in convincing us to buy products to a large extent and this essay will discuss both points of view.

We are eyewitnesses to the increasing variety of exotic food in our lives as a result of globalisation. Moreover, it is common for people in some countries to have a higher proportion of foreign meals than domestic ones.From my perspective, although some people can benefit from this scenario, the disadvantages are dominant.

Some people think the government should be responsible for solving the pollution problem which results from heavy traffic. To what extent you agree?

Modernization of the entire world resulted in frequent travels and heavy traffic. However, it has been argued that the government must be held responsible for alleviating the pollution issue arising from enormous traffic. I am partially agreed with the notion because I think not only the government but also the public should be held responsible. Government can make and apply stringent rules and regulations against pollution creating entities whereas, the public can keep their climate clean by proper driving and using public transports. This essay will elaborate on both views in the upcoming paragraphs.
