Public celebrations (such as festivals, national days etc) are held in most countries. These are often quite expensive and some people say that the government should spend money on more useful things. Do you agree or disagree ?

Festivals and national events mark the cultural and historical background of many countries, and thus most of them celebrate such occasions lavishly. There is a school of thought, which believes that governments should focus more on practical things such as infrastructure, education or economical condition of the country. In my opinion, I agree with the statement that authorities should pay more attention to the welfare of its citizens. In this essay, we shall elaborate this topic further.

Both governments and individual are spending vast amounts of money in protecting animals and their habitat. This money could be better spent dealing with fundamental issues in the society such as poverty and healthcare. To what extend do you agree?

People and governments are showing more concerns to protect wildlife by investing a huge amount of money in preserving their habitats rather than spending to deal with social and fundamental issues. I wholeheartedly agree that money should be spent on preserving habitats of animals but not at the cost of human lives. They should divide the budget between the two so that none of them has to comprise.

Some would argue that zoos should not keep them in captivity, whereas others think that there are advantages to retain them in the zoos. Although zoos are a tourist attraction in many countries and need wild animals to attract visitors, I believe that there are downsides to keep them in zoos.

In my opinion, it is an irrational view, because this has a detrimental impact on anyone. In this essay, we shall discuss these two points further.

The increasing trend of making friends with the help of social sites, like Facebook, has become a controversial issue. While some analysts believe that this is clearly beneficial to people, others think that it is more profitable to expand the network with a face. To deal with interactions. I will discuss both sides of the argument in depth. However, I would argue that real interactions are much safer.

Some of the parents insist to limit the children’s leisure activity unless they got the award. However, other parents argue that to face frustration and success is the essential stage of growing up. These situations will help them be ready for adult activity.

All around the world, there are those who suggest that schools should choose pupils based on their academic abilities. Although others believe it would be better to have students with different levels studying together, I recommend a collaboration of both types of admission criteria.

A trend has emerged in the last two decades with youngsters watching more TV than ever before. However, some people believe that the TV will never supersede books as a knowledge enhancement tool owing to which children have insufficient literacy skills today. I strongly agree with the notion and shall discuss my views in the upcoming paragraphs.

It is true, that a plethora of talented fresh graduates is not succeeding in career search nowadays. The problem is summoned with a myriad of factors, including family issues or a lack of opportunities in the particular area. However, I strongly believe, that employers are also playing a significant role in the recruiting process, and I will be defending my opinion in the following paragraphs.

Due to overpopulation, it is difficult to balance between the green areas and construction in urban areas.Some people argue that planting more trees in open space are more important than constructing more building in towns or cities. Although I believe that trees are necessary for cities and towns, housing also plays a significant role in such areas.

Many people argue that employees who have innovation and independent working skill should be preferred by employers while others suppose that teamwork skill is more vital than independent skill. In my opinion, a company needs both types of people for optimal growth. This essay will discuss both views mentioned above.
