Some people say that the main environmental problem of our time is the loss of particular species of plants and animals. Others say that there are more important environmental problems. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

In this contemporary era, there is a huge controversy going on among people regarding major environmental problems which we are currently facing. Some people believe that the core reason being the extinction of various endangered species of plants and animals. While, the other group of mankind believes that there must be other some sources of pollution responsible for this matter. However, I personally follow the latter group of people and will be giving my personal opinion of the issue concerned.

Sometimes it is argued that money should be spent on railways than that on road networks by the governments. Although it can be proved beneficial to some extent, it is nothing but a short-sighted view, according to my viewpoint, spending must equally be on the roads too.

There are plethoras of subjects to learn nowadays. People have differing views with regard to a question of whether subjects like arts, music, drama and writing are more advantaged students and should be added more hours to study. I assert the idea of having more periods for these issues and in this essay I will discuss why.

It is indeed true that the adolescents must be moulded into the responsible citizens of the community. Many intellectuals consider this matter as a duty of their respective parents. Climate change represents a major threat to our life on Earth. Some people argue that we need to accept it rather than try to stop it. I completely disagree with this statement as I believe that we still have time to tackle this issue by considering governments and individual contribution to it and reduce the human impact on Earth's climate.

In this contemporary era, there has been a lot of controversial talks regarding the merits and de-merits pertaining to computer invention. People often claim that technological benefits due to computer invention have been quite useful over the past 10 decades. However, I personally feel that the computer has a wide range of merits on its own, but it can be horrendous too if not properly utilized.

There is no denying that some people prefer to work in the same place because they are already immersed in that environment. However, some people want to cope up with new things that are fruitful for them after changing jobs. Since the last couple of decade choices of transportation has changed dramatically. Most people are in favour of using their personal vehicles to move within the city. Whereas, others travel by mass transit such as bus, train, or an underground railway. In my view, people should practice public transportation rigorously in order to avoid traffic congestions as well as to reduce air pollution.

Recent technological developments have turned the world into an information ocean. The era in which we live became the era of information. The Internet has widely spread all around the world and it is in use as a communication channel. However, there is a debate in the society that it needs to be controlled by the authorities or there should be full freedom.

The greenhouse effect and the development of industry exacerbate our environment, namely so-called the causes of climate change. The escalating cost of oil is assured as the method to deter contamination and the number of traffic jam. Despite its pros, I really disagree to tackle a problem with the price hike.

No one can deny the fact that many people are of the view that unpaid charity programmes should be included in tertiary education in spite of the contradictory opinions that other people may bear. In my opinion, I strongly agree with this view as it will allow youngsters gain invaluable social skills and to help the community.

Some people find themselves in situations either they must accept what life has given to them, or find a way to improve the situation. In my opinion, although accepting current situation may be practical in some cases, it is still better to at least strive to improve your situation as it can usually be better to some degree.
