The UN recentky celebrated its 70th anniversary. What benefits has it brought during this time? Do you think the UN will last another 70 years?

The United Nations is the intergovernmental organization, responsible for making international peace and security. They work for the betterment of the world and had recently celebrated their 70th anniversary. During this time, they had made tremendous efforts for the development of people of different sectors at different levels and has also achieved five global awards, out of which some of them are discussed below.

Some people say that instead of seeing the Internet as a way of opening up new communication possibilities world-wide, we should be concerned about the effect this is having on social interaction. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this view

The Internet is one of the biggest inventions of the last decades, contributing to society in many different ways, such as for sharing data, monitoring events or markets and also breaking communication frontiers. Generally, we can assume that Internet has a major role in globalization, primarily because it opens new ways of communication like Skype or Facebook, but we also need to consider its secondary effects. In my opinion, I agree with both scenarios given in the topic above.

Some people say that in all levels of education, from primary schools to universities, too much time is spent on learning facts and not enough on learning practical skills. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Based on my experience of pursuing education from primary schools to bachelor degree in university, I agree that students mostly learn more theories and facts instead of practicing the skill itself. For example, during primary school, students were taught on what to remember things more than why and how. My view, it is still applicable in primary stage of education. Because the students need to know and remember first before they could observe, learn and analyze the subjects they learned. However, this pattern continue to higher stage of education which are junior and senior high school.

We normally go to the markets to buy what we need. However, we might end up buying more than we really want. Sometimes, we don't buy what is needed at all; we just buy what was offered in an attractive way to increase the urge to be bought. If you're asking "why is that?", the answer is simple. We have everything ready packaged in standerdized packs. We don't have the option that allows us to decide the amount we really need. Now, we need to stop and think. How many times did we throw away things that went bad before we had a chance to use it? How many poor people were deprived of their share because we can afford to buy and throw away while they can't? Do we have a role to change the situation? Who should we blame for that?

It is becoming increasingly popular for people to travel to tourist destinations during public holidays. What problems does this cause? What solutions are there to these problems?

Nowadays more and more people visit tourist destinations during public holidays. Such tendency often has adverse impact on those places and the issue can be solved by governmental intervention. Places which are overcrowded by tourists have more probability to be damaged because of some tourists’ irresponsible behaviors. Environmental issues should be especially noted as these reasons raise concern over the future of touristic places. Such destinations tend to be polluted by plastic bags and packages which negatively affect the surrounding area. This fact does not only raise environmental concern but also aesthetic one. The beauty of destinations is spoilt by pollution which makes locals worry about the future of tourism. To mitigate the negative effect of flow of tourists to destinations, government should take several steps. The Olympics has been big event and celebrated significantly last few decades. While it is an exciting world event, some people claim that the Olympics is not valuable in the 21st century. In my opinion, while I am mostly disagree with this statement, I will point out few things in the following essay. There are various needs and benefits of the Olympics in our society. Firstly, the Olympics brings all the nation together. Undoubtedly, time is changing unceasingly and so are the ways of adoring seniors’ awareness in miscellaneous aspects of our life and considering their consequential role in our society. Whether young adults should obey the orders of the aged people or not is a fiercely debated topic that divides people. However, it is argued by some group of people that elderlies have owning a preventing to make a mistake by youth if they hold an experience. As the world popullation reaches a staggering 7-billion the amount of waste which we daily produce has exponentially risen. It is a common site for the citizens of developing countries to notice mountains of garbage lying on the side of the road of an interstate highway, therefore lawmakers in these countries have proposed mandatory recycling even at a small scale level such as individual homes. It is a positive thing for people who are in senior management positions in companies to have much higher salaries than other employees in the same company or organization. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Management is a steering wheel to an organization and senior management professionals strategically lead the company to reach its vision and goal. It is a fact that we, all human have been relying on new innovation. Some people claim this is a waste of time or just cost too much and not really worth it.
