A person’s worth nowadays seems to be judged according to social status and material possessions. Old-fashioned values, such as honour, kindness and trust, no longer seem important. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Every person is judged by others in a society based on certain parameters and those parameters change from time to time. While it is true that some of them remain gold standard, others get replaced by modern values. I agree with the point that these days, those metrics are more hedonistic, but would differ on the grounds that they have not entirely replaced historical values.
