Nowadays, with an increasing number of online resources it is becoming extremely popular to use online books, instead of paper ones. Consequently, while it is argued that it is not necessary to contribute to establishing libraries in towns, others believe they are still required in society. This essay will explore both viewpoints and provide my own opinion in conclusion.

Many educational scientists think that homework is important to students. Meanwhile, other researchers said that homework has more negative effects than positive effects. Although homework can improve students’ responsibility for their studying, I agree that homework causes stress for children, so it could be a bad influence on pupils.

Since people feel vulnerable after being assailed, some individuals tend to advocate in favour of taking criminals to jail, which is an understandable situation. However, others believe that there are different alternatives to make lawbreakers pay for their crimes. In this essay, both points of view will be discussed and I will give my opinion concerning the topic.

Rising university fees and scarce employment prospects for graduates have led some people to say that universities should not teach arts subjects, like philosophy and history, and only offer practical degree courses that maximise chances of employment. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

As the prices for university fees grew and the job market became even more competitive than it had been earlier, some people believe that theoretical subjects, such as art history for example, should be excluded from universities in order to study more practical subjects and get skills which will increase the chances of getting a well-paid job. Although I believe that we still need to provide an opportunity for studying social and historical studies, I totally agree that the number of practical courses should be increased.

Nowadays, there are too many people who believe that whether parents read stories to their offspring is an old-school habit. Others argue that It should be replaced with the new modern technology. Personally, I am partially in favour of the second view.

It is under discussion by several people that the reduction in animal species is a natural process. However, I believe that human plays a significant role in bringing a positive change in their life. Therefore, I am not in favor of the above statement, and I will discuss my point of view in detail in my essay below.
