The advantage and disadvantage of hosting an international sports event. Some individuals believe it is wasting money. Some feel it is the opposite. In my opinion, the merits of hosting international sports event host conutry outweigh the demerits because hosting an international sports event can boosts the local economy of host country, and improve the tourism industry on the host country.
