The most essential component of a person’s life is his or her time at the workplace, and life turns meaningless once no job satisfaction is obtained. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

These days, there is a big focus on job satisfaction. Some people believe that without it, their life would be meaningless. I completely disagree with this idea because although job satisfaction is important, I believe it is not the only thing that can bring meaning to a person’s life. In fact, I believe there are many other things that can bring far greater meaning to a person’s life than their career choice.

People today spend less and less time interacting with other people in their neighborhood and this has a negative impact on communities.What are the possible causes and solutions to this problem?

People are not communicating with their neighbours nowadays which has devastating effect on society. The major reason is busy life schedules and this issue can be curbed by organising events in residential societies.

Present a written argument or case to an educated non-specialist audience on the following topic. Globalization has led to the introduction of many new international products into local shops and markets. What do you think are the main advantages and disadvantages of this example of globalization?

Liberalization of trade has lead to an influx of global products in the domestic markets. The good thing about this is that people get an exposure to the world market and can use products that are not available domestically. However, the negative impact is that we stop using local products and get completely dependant on imported products. In my opinion, globalization has been disadvantageous to the domestic manufacturers.

Some are on the view that paper qualifications will bring triumph, while others thinks otherwise. I strongly believe that education itself will not be enough to achieve success in the contemporary world.

According to some people news is not relevant for people and as such there is no point in wasting time reading newspapers or watching news channels. I fully disagree with this view. In my opinion, news impacts us both directly and indirectly and staying informed of the happenings around us is crucial to ensure our well-being.

Some people think that it is more important to plant trees in open areas of towns and cities than to build more housing. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It does not need a second thought that human activities are deteriorating the environment. With the rise in the human population, the demand for housing is surging. People cut trees to build houses to live and even open lands in urban areas are being converted to the same. Hence, I strongly concur with this viewpoint that afforestation must be promoted in such lands.

In order to study at university students are required to pay expensive tuition fees. Not all students can afford them so some people think that university education should be free for everyone? To what extent do you agree.

Exorbitant university fees have deprived many talented students of continuing their education, therefore they wind up dropping from school. According to others, they agree that university education ought to be free. In my opinion, I believe that education at universities should be free worldwide as this will bring more benefits for individuals and society.

The rising levels of congestion and air pollution found in most of the world cities can be attributed directly to the rapidly increasing number of private cars in use. In order to reverse this decline in the quality of life in cities, attempts must be made to encourage people to use their cars less and public transport more. In a world of increasing environmental awareness improved public transport represents the way of the future. Although people do enjoy the convenience and privacy of traveling in their own private vehicles, in my opinion they may choose public transport if it fulfills certain conditions. These conditions fall into three broad categories: attitudinal, financial and logistical.

As the influx of high school graduates increases, the choice of accommodation has emerged as a topic of interest. While it’s preferable for students to stay in the comfort of their own home. I contend that people who enrol on college should stay on campus ground.

When young people are choosing what subject to study at university, most of them hope they will find a great job upon graduation. In a ,reality many fresh graduates fail to find work in their field and some are even forced to take up a below graduate-level job. In my opinion, the root of this problem lies in the outdated higher education system that should be modernized.

Multinational companies are becoming increasingly common in developing countries. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this?

More and more multinational firms are setting up their branches / offices in developing countries. The primary advantage of having large scale industries is that they will increase employment and reduce poverty, but the main drawback is that they force employees to work hard.

As well as making money businesses also have social responsibilities. Do you agree or disagree?

Many different views relating to types of companies’ obligation are available. In my opinion, I strongly agree that earning more and more money is an important target for every business. Beside, I also believe that social responsibilities are one of parts that corporations should have.

Some people feel that government should take a large proportion of people's salaries to pay for necessary public services such as roads and school. Other feel that high taxes are a bad thing. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Nowadays, mostly 30% of the income to the government was generated from the tourism sector. Because in every country there are some special places that will be there, like temples with ancient history, and different cultures and special food recipes. I believe that advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

Today, there is a higher proportion of older people among the entire population in the world. Some believe that this will exert a favourable influence on society, while others disagree. Its pessimistic effects outweigh its positive ones.

In current times, elementry activities such as shopping and paying bills are now being done more and more by using the internet. In my opinion, the advantages of this trend, namely saving money and time, outweigh its drawbacks.

In the present scenario , the number of people in most nations occupies a large proportion of younger than aged people . There are more advantages of having a large number of young population and a small number of senior citizens than its disadvantages , so this essay outweighs its negative side . This essay explains its more number of benefits with a couple of drawbacks , followed by a reasoned conclusion .

It is argued by some that living in an apartment is better than living in a private house. While there are advantages to living in a large and populated building, in my opinion the advantages of living in a house, namely privacy and queit, outweigh its drawbacks.

Some people say that instead of seeing the Internet as a way of opening up new communication possibilities world-wide, we should be concerned about the effect this is having on social interaction. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this view

It is argued by some that the negative effect of the internet on social communication outweighs its advantage of developing new ways of global interaction. This essay completely disagrees with that statement, mainly because the internet has created a great number of new job opportunities and has enabled long–distance communication.
