A government has a responsibility to its citizens to ensure their safety. Therefore, some people think that the government should increase spending on defence but spend less on social benefits. To what extent do you agree?

As we move deeper into the third decade of the 21st century, tensions between Western and Eastern countries are growing. Some argue that we should redirect funding from social benefits to defence spending, arguing that the government has a responsibility to ensure the safety of its citizens. However, I do not agree with this point. Increasing military spending would not necessarily lead to greater prosperity, and could even escalate tensions further.

More and more people want to buy clothes, car and other products from well-known brands. What are the reasons? Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

In the contemporary epoch, people are much more aware of the quality and originality of anything such as daily useful materials and vehicles and they trust the services provided by popular companies. I think it has some merits as well as demerits. So, I will explain this in the forthcoming paragraphs.

Recent years have witnessed an increase in the number of illiterate people. From my perspective, being unable to read or write brings perils to this group of people and society as well, and governments can take several steps to resolve those issues.

This has become a controversial topic among people as it contains both advantages and disadvantages. This essay is to discuss both aspects with examples.

In some societies the number of crimes committed by teenagers is growing. Some people think that regardless of age, teenagers who commit major crimes should receive adult punishment. To what extend do you agree?

Throughout the years, the uncommon activity of crime has been committed more frequently by a specific age group of humans. Furthermore, generally, adults have been viewed to carry out such acts, however, in recent years there has been an exponential increase in the number of teenagers performing it. Some examples of this appear to be the 2020 covid 19, Irish, and Swansea riots carried out by them. Regarding this situation, there has been a major dispute about the punishment that the youthful undertakers of this should receive, with most thinking that similar to grown-ups, teens should get the same discipline.

In today’s world, humanity has many possibilities for staying away from diseases. Nowadays, being healthy is becoming compulsory because of increasing physical illness. My humble idea is that health is wealth and if people make an investment in their health, they can keep in shape with sports and regular diets.

Many people think that scared pupils from teachers are better than if they have a friendly relationship with them, while others believe the opposite. I find particularly smart those relationships built by teachers based on affection. Absolutely nothing good can happen from fear, especially if we are talking about children.

Some companies have uniforms for their staff which must be worn at all times What are the advantages for company of having a uniform? Are there any benefits of having a uniform for that staff?

Few organisations have deployed a rule of wearing uniforms on all working days for their staff. While there are some advantages in favour of companies, we should peek at the perspectives of staff also, which can be non-identical.

Environmental problems are now becoming an issue that pervasive among society in the world. To tackle this issue, some argue that it is an individual responsibility, while others believe that governments and international organizations are the stakeholders responsible. From my perspective, I strongly agree that individuals indeed have critical portions to eradicate environmental issues, however, other stakeholders have and should play their role in order to reduce environmental shortcomings as well.

Many people think that travelling is better when you spend a considerable amount of money on a tour plan or fancy hotels. On the other hand, some people argue that it is better to spend holidays interacting with local communities. This essay will explain why tourists have a better experience when travelling around the country and present the economic benefits to local communities.

Professional athletes and companies related to sports both financially and in other ways can earn high salaries. In my opinion, the advantages of this change outweigh the disadvantages in terms of the advancement of sports.

Some people believe that only the government and large companies are responsible for protecting the environment. and individuals do nothing to do anything to improve the ecosystem. I partially agree with the above statement. In my opinion, individuals and the government is equally responsible for protecting nature.

Nowadays, most population of the world get the information they need from the media, such as TVs and the internet. Most societies would prefer this information to be completely open. However, it is believed that the authority should restrict access to anything confidential. In this essay, I will explain why I agree with this statement and I will support my opinion with examples.

Most people have argued that the role of teachers in the past was to give information to their students ,unlike today where all the necessary materials needed for education can be easily retrieved online as a result of modernisation hence,not requiring them anymore. I disagree with this statement since the place of educators in society cannot be replaced as teachers have proven to yield more positive results.
