Social media has replaced the traditional methods of communicating and people use more and more of social media to communicate and to follow news and events. Some people think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages and give your opinion with example.

Over the last several decades, social media has altered into an essential method of communication for modern people. A segment of society is convinced that this trend benefits individuals because they can keep in touch with their old friends, make new ones and be aware of the latest news. Others, however, believe that it detrimentally affects people leading to mental health issues. I personally support the latter view. The following paragraphs will discuss the pros and cons of social media and highlight my opinion in detail.

Planting trees is very important for the environment. Some people says trees should be planted in the vacant areas of metropolitan while others says housing facilities should be build instead. Do you agree of disagree?

Oxygen is an essential element for the survival of the human race. One section of the society thinks that more plantations should be there in unoccupied places, on the contrary; others think that accommodations should be made over there. However, I will express my views on both opinions in this essay.

It is often considered that foreign companies pose a threat to local businesses and, therefore, access should be closed for them. I strongly disagree with this point of view and think that foreign investments play an important role in the economic development of any state.

It is true that current mode is increasing its relevance in society and remains a huge and profitable business. From my point of view, this tendency is quite contradictory and has both advantages and disadvantages.

Beneficiaries of modern technology which was always debatable and have become more controversial. Many people claim that new technology raises the difference between rich and poor, while others reject this notion. The substantial influence of this trend has sparked controversy over the potential impact in recent years. In my opinion, using new tech-rich and poor social class is beneficial to be more rational. This essay will elaborate on both points of view of this issue and thus lead to a logical conclusion.

In certain cities around the world, there are no guidelines or regulations on the designs of buildings, and constructors can choose whatever style they prefer. Undoubtedly, there are benefits, as well as drawbacks of such loose city design legislations. In my view, the disadvantages are more considerable than the advantages.

Crime nowadays is at an all-time high and consequently, most people prefer to stay at home and prevent any criminal activity that they may be subjected to. There are opinions that promote the possibility of some action that can be taken to stop lawlessness from increasing further. The opposite point of view that hardly anything can be done to keep misdeeds at bay is also a prevailing thought. This essay will discuss these perspectives and present a personal opinion as well.

Some people argue that the government budget for preserving aged properties should be less than building new houses and road constructions. While I believe that maintaining old architecture is a necessity according to their values, I completely agree that constructing new roads and houses needs more money.

There are some people who opine that violent sports including boxing and martial arts should be prohibited from TV channels and global competitions. From my point of view, I partially agree with this idea since their advantages are outweighed by disadvantages.

The invention of the internet has definitely changed our world. Some people believe that it has changed for the better, bringing humans closer together, whereas others think that the situation has only worsened since nobody really interacts with others anymore.

People have different views about whether accepting awful instances is the best way. While there are some benefits of satisfying the present, I would argue that situations should be improved.

Visiting Places for recreation is one of the most probable spends of an individual. Since for most commonly visited places,the tourism industry contributes as a major source of income, many believe that if this aspect is not managed correctly, it may lead to a lot of problems.Whilst it might lead to a few problems, I firmly believe that it's best not to meddle with the current state of such attractions.

Some individuals claim that space exploration costs a fortune and spending this huge amount of money is not worth it. whilst, many people hold the thought that space programs must carry on no matter how much does it cost. As far as I am concerned, continuing this researches will put heavy burdens on governments' shoulders which is not necessary. This essay will discuss both views and gives relevant examples about them.

With alarming population growth, food shortage has become an area of contention in many countries. One of the remedial measures, in some people's opinion, is genetically modified food. In my view, this can be a good solution to have enough food for everyone, as GM crops can be more resistant to pests and diseases. However, the government should strictly control genetic modifications to avoid negative effects on human's health.
