Along with globalization, environmental issues are becoming the major concern of this planet. Some people consider that the loss of individual species of flora and fauna is the main environmental problem in this modern world but for others, environmental issues are harmful effects of human activities on the biophysical environment. In this essay, I will discuss both opinions and explain why I strongly support that there are several other issues that require immediate attention.

Of late, many metropolitan cities around the world have experienced a reduction in the quality of life. Some people attribute this phenomenon to the expansion of virtual life accoutrements and a general drop in social cohesion. The quality of life has actually been noticed to fall constantly due to continuous expansion of population in major cities and overburdening on resources available and the cutthroat competition these issues led to. I will further discuss the reasons behind the captioned problem along with the probable measures to tackle it.

While some individuals are of the opinion that travelling to other communities and better job opportunities in foreign nations are the only reason that people tend to be multilingual, others believe that there are others factors which may be motivated people to learn languages besides their mother tongue. Cultural heritages play a vitally important role in countries’ development. Some people argue that making cultural sites a part of tourism will cause damages to these sites. However, others claim that this is the only method to preserve these cultural traditions and I totally agree with them.

The power of communication is what makes humans unique, and since we had mastered this, mankind began to develop rapidly. That is why I believe that we need to have a universal language such as English, however, we should maintain regional tongues as well, because they are the sheer culture of elder communities with the knowledge that would be lost if they are not taught to other people.

Currently, with the advance in technology, computer devices changed our lives. People use it for work or entertainment and cannot live without it anymore. Nevertheless, some individuals believe that excessive use at an early age has more downsides than upsides. I strongly agree that it can harm children in several ways that I will elaborate on below.
