Nowadays many people choose to be self-employed, rather than to work for a company or organisation.Why might this be the case?What could be the disadvantaged of being self-employed?

In recent times,there has been an increasing trend of individuals leaving high paying jobs at the corporate for freelancing and being self-employed.This could be a result of the rising levels of stress among people.The fact that people would rather be self-employed ,which puts them at a disadvantage as it takes away their guaranteed monthly income and everything solely depends on them, begs for further research on why this is happening.

In some countries young people are encouraged to work or travel for a year between finishing high school and starting University studies. Discuss the advantage and disadvantage for young people who decide to do this.

As can be seen that the number of younger generation deciding to find work or going abroad for about one year after they finished high school and before they start their study in the boarding school. However, there are some people who argue with this idea. In my opinion, there are also some advantages and disadvantages about doing this which can be shown in the following paragraphs.

In today’s society, it is true that some parents tend to indulge and accept children’ irrational requests whenever they ask for them. Personally, I suppose that bringing up young-aged offspring by following their expectations is not considered a smartly encouraging method and it will leave some associated mental and behavioural problems during their childhood or even adulthood.
