A person’s worth nowadays seems to be judged according to social status and material possessions. Old-fashioned values, such as honour, kindness and trust, no longer seem important. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

This essay aims to discuss whether old-fashion values such as kindness, honesty have lost value today and if they had been replaced with social status and material possession. I am inclined to believe that is true, which will be presented throughout the examples and arguments.

The role of education is to prepare children for the modern world. Schools should cut art and music out of the curriculum so that children can focus on useful subjects such as information technology. To what extent do you agree ?

Education should be a bright guide for children in order to prepare them for the real world. The constrained curriculum in specific areas such as technology and science has been seen as more beneficial than arts and music.This essay will be a strong advocate that many adolescents are able to show their valuable skills in the arts area and also their social awareness can be improved by learning arts and music.

There is a flood of junk food in today's time. Consuming such food can leave a negative impact on the health of a person. There are a bunch of people who consider posing tax on such food items whereas many invariably believe that this should not be a right step and not mandatory. I inarguably support the former opinion and would throw light on both views but justify my opinion with valid reasonings.

The last two decades have seen tremendous growth in the field of information technology such as in e-mails, World Wide Web. I believe that although there are some negative sides to information technology, its benefits will outweigh the drawbacks in the long run.

Nowadays, it has been a hot topic in various universities to receive women and men students equally in every course that they enrolled. Although it will work in certain courses, I do believe that regulating this idea for gender equality will be hard to implement by the universities.
