This a debate topic because few people would contest that school children should not be given homework by their teachers, while some believed that homework plays an important role in a student's life. In this essay, I am going to discuss both of the views with appropriate reasons.

Since the early 1930s, television, or TV, has been a powerful audio-visual medium with wide acceptability among the masses. I clearly remember the year 1982- that year the Asiad games were in town, and the Indian government decided to telecast the games live on TV. There was a rush to buy TV sets and everybody was glued to their TVs watching the games unfold. After the 1990s, the government handed over broadcasting to private channels and the TV was flooded with advertising of all types. In the following paragraphs, I will examine the pros and cons of advertising and how the audience has been affected by it.

Art is considered mandatory for the young ones at school, however, others believe the time should be used for other purposes. While knowledge in art is useful as it may aid people in expressing their sentiments, I think more time should be allocated to other subjects such as science and language as that would help build their career.

A government’s role is only to provide defense capability and urban infrastructure (roads, water supplies, etc.). All other services (education, health, social security) should be provided by private groups or individuals in the community. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Some would argue that the governors should only try to provide vital requirements such as security, roads, water supplies, and so on, essential for normal function of a society and most of other responsibilities should be given to nongovernmental groups. Others believe that the government is responsible for all activities. In my opinion, it is better to give most activities to members of a community and only structural needs must be provided by government.

Certainly, large public places like parks and squares are essential across all rural areas and considered as heart of the cities. Therefore, I entirely agree with the aforementioned notion because large public areas provide great value to both the towns and its civilians.

Advancement in technology has revolutionized all aspects of our lives, and the way we read books has been affected by this progress as well. Nowadays most books are available in the form of PDF on the Internet. Some individuals hold the view that paper books will get obsolete in the near future and electronic books will be replaced. I completely agree with this argument and I will justify my support in this regard in the following paragraphs.

Nowadays, schools are responsible for educating students and growing their abilities. People have different views about whether schools should choose students with their academic or different abilities studying together. Although schools should consider students' academic skills, studying students with different skills would be better. Now I want to discuss this topic in a detail in my essay.

Depending on scientific technology being developed consistently, more and more knowledge and information could be uploaded to the Internet and will be shared with everyone. Therefore, I agree that everyone will prefer reading online for free rather than reading printed newspapers and books.

Nowadays, numerous elderly face serious trouble in their lives, like loneliness and physical illnesses, because of getting their children married or immigrating to other countries and having physical diseases due to the sedentary lifestyle. Although they suffer from both issues, they do not make an effort to solve them.

Nowadays, transports are very important for people to go from one place to another place. In some countries, some people hold that government should spend more money on high-speed railways so that people can transport between cities, while others think that the money should spend on existing transports. It is true that men are increasingly likely to take on the role of house husband , while more women than ever are the breadwinner s in their families. There could be several reasons for this, and I consider it to be a very positive trend.
