Due to globalisation, people have witnessed an economic boom, which led to the advent of the affluent society, and are enjoying a decent life. However, advantages are usually accompanied by disadvantages, and one of them is global warming which is worrisome and vital. From my point of view, when enjoying the convenience brought by globalisation, we cannot overlook the consequences of it.

Some individuals believe that the government should provide significant funding for elite athletes. However, others believe that money should be used to benefit the general public. I believe that the government should spend money to improve their sporting facilities because many athletes rely heavily on government financing and infrastructure. Without a doubt, advertising is pervasive in modern society. What’s worse, people may receive many advertisements and be brainwashed unconsciously. I agree that our government should take some initiatives to prevent citizens from being extremely exposed to various advertisements. Especially for some underage people, there is a lot of improper information mentioned in some advertisements that will mislead them. Moreover, youngsters might be instilled into some values shaped by the media. Most enterprises only care about their own profits rather than the mental development of children. If our government sits watching and does nothing, more and more social problems may emerge and aggregate into a negative social atmosphere. By that time, it will be too late to make any changes.

Although authority pays for institutions from college to tertiary in some countries,other individuals need to pay for themselves in another union. In my opinion, I absolutely agree that it is beneficial for the government to pay for students school fees because this would allow equality among the people and also reduce the burden of payment on students. However, there are also drawbacks related to this.

While it was considered by some that offering free public transportation in a week is the most effective way for the authorities to resolve the traffic congestion, I disagree with this method to improve the problem, and it would cause some associated drawbacks.

Certain people think that persons being most dependent on others, while others think that people become more indpending on themselves. In my opinion, I strongly believe that individuals become more independent on themselves.
