Living in a country where you have to speak a foreign language can cause serious social problems as well as practical problems. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement.

Opinions differ regarding the challenges that are faced by a person who is not native to a particular country. Some people may face a problem socially or practically whereas rest have to struggle with both. I, however, completely agree with the later and opine that the foreigners have to go an extra mile in order to accept a country socially and practically. This essay will elaborate this rationale with supporting arguments and examples.

Some people think that it is better to educate boys and girls in separate schools. Others, however, believe that boys and girls benefit more from attending mixed schools. Discuss both these view and give your opinion.

Education imparts knowledge to the offspring and helps them to achieve a goal at a later part of their life. It is indeed a moot topic that whether to go to mixed schools is more beneficial than going to separate schools. Although, some parents prefer same sex schools because of their conservative thinking, in my opinion, sending children to mixed schools would make them more confident and independent in the long run.

It is considered by most people that teenagers and adolescents should be taught culinary skills. In my opinion, adults should learn gastronomy skills as they can pursue this art based on their interests. However, youngsters should know the necessary cooking skills, in case of an emergency.

Although it is sometimes thought that being financially sound will give a chance to spend money for charity, whereas, it will vary and cannot be generalised. In my opinion, I agree with the idea of helping, it would be even better if the help can be in multiple ways rather than just donating.

Today’s society provides people with various ways to lose weight, such as special diets or exercise regimes. Many people believe though that poor food and today’s lifestyle should be addressed first. What is your opinion?

In modern day western society one can easily become obese, as the availability of cheap and unhealthy food is high. Nonetheless, many people desire to be healthy and slim and therefore have chosen to follow special diets or exercise regimes so as to not become obese. Others believe, however, that people should be better informed about today’s unhealthy lifestyles and the poor food they are consuming before such diets and regimes are taken into consideration. Personally, I agree that the unhealthy lifestyle of many people must be addressed before thinking about ways of losing weight through special diets.

People usually use the saying 'Failure is the mother of success' to encourage others to get used to their hardships since they will be successful sooner or later as long as they have passion. But I have a different point of view. Despite the fact that a burning desire is essential to success, other factors, for instance, a correct method, should also be taken into account.

In this ever-advanced modern world, the advent of sophisticated technology provides us with new avenues to access a wide range of information. Citizens can simply acquire different knowledge in the Internet instead of educational centre like public libraries. In view of this, some people pointed out that the establishment of libraries is a waste of money and resources. However, from my point of view, I do not accord with this notion.

A museum is an important representative of a nation’s history and culture, which is beneficial to the educational aspect of the society. However, it become common that more museums are charging for an entrance fee, while many people worried that this trend may lead to negative consequences, such as a decline in the number of visitors. From my point view, under no circumstances should museum charges for admission fee.

In addition, nuclear power is cost efficient as well.
