Many residents living in villages are migrating to cities, and because of this, populations in rural areas are declining. I believe that this is a negative development because a decrease in population leads to a lack of development in rural places and there would not be many youngsters to take care of the elderly members of society.

However, some of them believe that competing in many different settings of life, including at work, school, and in daily life can be beneficial, even though others think that cooperation should be encouraged. Nonetheless, I would say that I agree with the latter opinion is far superior for some reasons which are set out below.

However, I personally believe that these behaviors might lead to negative outcomes in the long run, and I will discuss both the pros and cons in the following paragraphs.
